1986 Porsche 944 turbo 951 e bay's best project of the week! wp0aa0953gn152349 Yes I know that you are amazed at the car and the price but it is true. As we all know the 944 turbo was the best of the breed starting with the 924 and culminating with the fabulous 968, but except for a few factory cars there was never a more powerful one than the 944 turbo. Everyone who drives one is astounded by the power, and Porsche club drivers swear by it as the ultimate track car. With these cars quickly becoming valuable collectors items and rapidly appreciating, it is very hard to find one that has not been "rung through the ringer" at a reasonable price. (that is under ten thousand dollars!) Well here is one for you to consider that was never rung just lightly taken apart by a Virginia graduate student with a dream of ultimate performance. Ten years later after storage in a heated garage and a Captains rank in the army from his ROTC commission, and a wife and baby, he brought the car to us to find it a good home, too many obligations to ever think about reassembling it. Basically what the car needs is an engine rebuild with the block crank and head already machined and all of the parts carefully stored and labeled. He even has the nuts and bolts neatly labeled in the included bins. His intent was to install larger pistons, so the block has been overboard and the head ports slightly opened. As you can see by the many pictures all of the parts are in good condition along with the like new muffler.  THIS PARTICULAR TURBO HAS THE RARE 5R LIMITED SLIP TRANSAXLE WITH OIL COOLER!  The four rare seven and eight by sixteen inch fuchs alloys are included (the three tires are not that great the spare is obviously on the right front) The body is absolutely excellent having never been damaged and only slight paintwork in the original black color. It is perfectly all right to use as is as the paint shines with very few blemishes, so with an engine rebuild and reassembly, one should be ready to go. The interior is very nice as you can see with just a few dash cracks and of course those BEAUTIF UL leather sport seats are the envy of any Porsche enthusiast. This is in our opinion one of the best buys on e bay and I am sure any one who is the lucky high bidder will really enjoy the reassembly of this car along with the ultimate performance and collect-ability in the future. I have offered an opening bid at no reserve which is about the value of the four 16 inch turbo wheels, the very rare 5R limited slip transaxle with oil cooler, the sport seats and the turbo calipers.
