Vehicle Detail
Here is one awesome truck that I just finished earlier this year for my wife. She has always loved this model of Chevrolet Truck, so we took a super clean stock K1500 that was rust free and started building an awesome truck. She has driven it since May of this year, but now has decided it is not a very practical to drive on a daily basis. We took the stock 305 cu motor out and replaced it with a New 454 HO 425HP Big-Block GM Performance Crate Engine (12568774), then added an EZ-EFI® Self Tuning Fuel Injection System with in the tank fuel pumps, 3” Flowmaster exhaust system. We wanted it lifted so decided to go with Rough Country 4” Suspension Lift, then I bought the last (5) XD795 Hoss Black Chrome 18” Wheels in existence and mounted (4) of them on 325/75R18 Hankook MT Tires. After that I thought the stock gears where way to high, so we installed 4.56 Yukon Gears. The gear ratio is actually perfect for the tire size, with the 700R4 Overdrive Transmission. Along with the engine swap I installed a 4 core radiator, purchased and installed all the A/C brackets so everything would work as factory. Finally I took it over to David Bellm at Christian County Collision Nixa, MO and he removed the bed, doors, interior, all the glass, etc. He took the truck totally apart and refinished the entire truck inside and out. I sandblast for a living and I went to his shop and blasted the inside of the bed when he had it removed. There was no rust or dents in this truck when we started and it turned out perfect. In the process we installed all NEW window rubbers, door bushings, door panels, body moldings, grille, rubber floor mat, headliner, dash pad, dash trim, and seatbelts. The seat was also professionally re-upholstered. The bumpers are still the factory OEM and are in excellent condition. All body panels on this truck are the ones that it came with from the factory. As with any vehicle people can pick things apart, but this is one very slick 1984 Chevrolet K1500. She has put 6000-7000 miles on this truck since it was finished. I have never got the speedometer adjusted with the tire size, the bottom bolt on the transfer case seeps fluid (not a biggie, just wanted to be upfront). I have invested just over $30000 in this truck and understand that you never get back what you have invested on custom vehicles. You will be buying an awesome truck for way less than you can build one yourself. I will work with the shipping company of your choice if you choose to have it shipped on a transport truck. I want a $1000 deposit immediately after the auction is over. I can be reached at 620-331-9372 for questions about this truck Several Pics, Link Below: https://picasaweb.google.com/108590336331151261256/20111120?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCIzU3_KhvefNogE&feat=directlink
