To the average eye this corvette may look like just another C4 corvette, but once you drive it or see it go down the road, you know its no ordinary car. This car had a sticker price of $64,000 in 1991. Due to limited production and rarity, many have seen or driven this beast of an automobile. This car was purchased from an owner that was going through a divorce. The car has sat idle for many years. It went to the Chevy dealer for service who dropped the fuel tank, replaced the fuel pump, drained the tank, and cleaned the throttle body and injectors. New spark plugs, air filter, and an oil changer were also performed. This car starts up and runs strong. No leaks, smoking or misfires to worry about. The clutch has a good pedal feel with no issues. The tires are Michelin Pilot Sport's with about half tread life. They are somewhat dry but very even in tread. No exhaust leaks or modifications, a great sounding LT5 engine upon acceleration. The exterior of the vehicle is shiny and glossy with some signs of paintwork. No accident history and no accidents, but the previous owners ex-wife did key the car and it was spot painted the proper color with the proper paint. Only a trained eye can see this, but because of the collectable value of this car, I must tell you. Moving on, the headlamps work properly along with the rest of the exterior lighting. Interior is very clean and very nice. The seats show little to no wear on leather along with steering wheel, shifter and dashboard. Power windows, power locks, and both power seats work as they should. This car comes with both clear top along with body colored top. The radio sounds great with no distortion and power antenna working great. There are no warning lamps inlluminated on dashboard. As the years go by, finding a ZR1 that wasn't modified or crashed becomes harder. Finding one that is affordable is even a more difficult challenge. This car is more rare they the typical black or red corvettes and it looks great. Enjoy a 1 of 46 car with awesome power and looks for an affordable price.
