Here’s one of the BEST examples of one of the most popular trucks ever built! This 1979 Chevy Silverado is in near perfect condition! This truck features virtually every option GM offered for this year and model truck, such as Power Steering, Brakes, Windows, Locks, Ice Cold Air Conditioning, Automatic Full-Time 4WD Transfer Case, AM/FM Cassette (Works perfectly), Tilt Wheel, Cruise Control (it works too), Delay Wipers, Carpeting, High-Level Trim Package, Rally Wheels with Trim Rings and Center Caps, Cargo Light, Roof Cab marker Lights, Factory Service Manual, Full-Size Spare Tire (about 50%) striking two-tone blue paint job. etc! The recent Chevy 350 Engine is well cared for and exceptionally strong. Only 14,000 miles since a verified new engine, transmission and transfer case were installed a few years ago. This year, we added a new Radiator, new Edelbrock Carburetor, new heads, gaskets and seals, new mufflers. Tires have less than 4,000 miles on them and present like new! The bed is professional lined with an extremely durable rubberized coating. We are the second owners of this truck and really love it, but must make room for new toys. The original owner lived in Iowa and the truck received virtually all new sheet metal under his meticulous care. This truck is practically rust free. Typical surface light rust coating on frame, and the body is completely rust free! There are a few nicks and scratches from normal use. Pretty close to a show truck, and it still turns heads at the local cruise-ins. There aren’t many from this era in this great of condition. Drive it anywhere, anytime! It could well be considered a collectible truck. WHAT IT NEEDS: Mechanically, this truck needs absolutely nothing at all! It runs amazingly well, as if new. The truck as dual gas tanks, but the left side has NOT been plumbed yet. Not a difficult or expensive task at all. I just never got around to it. Every option and features works exactly as it is supposed to. Truck drives straight and true. Not bad on gas either! PRICING: Looking on eBay and Auto Trader, etc, we see similar trucks in lesser condition going for over $7500. Our reserve is fair and appropriate for this condition of truck.
