I recently purchased this vehicle and am relisting it due to financial circumstances. The following is the ad as it appeared on eBay when I bought this vehicle. However upon inspection this does have some underbody rust. Otherwise, the car is as described and does look and run very nice. I will also include a set of OEM Ford key blanks, keychain, and an original owner's manual. Shipping cost on this vehicle varies. Buyer is responsible for all shipping, pickup, and drop off. HOWEVER, if you choose the buy it now option I will handle the shipping for you within the lower 48. UP FOR AUCTION IS MY 1991 FORD MUSTANG LX 5.0 HATCHBACK. IT HAS AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION--THE CAR HAS 139K ORIGINAL MILES AND IT RUNS AND LOOKS GREAT!!! I JUST BOUGHT THE CAR BACK IN JUNE ($5000) BUT MY CURRENT FINANCIAL SITUATION (DUE MUCH IN PART TO WHAT MY WIFE CALLS AN EBAY ADDICTION) FORCES SALE OF SOME TOYS. THIS CAR HAS SOME MILDS MODS--THE OBVIOUS VISIBLE ONES INCLUDE A COBRA PLENUM, AFTERMARKET HEADERS AND FLOWMASTER EXHAUST. THE CAR RUNS GREAT AND THE BODY IS EXTREMELY CLEAN WITH NO RUST/BODY DAMAGE AND THE PAINT SHINES--IT DOES APPEAR THE FRONT BUMPER COVER HAS BEEN REPAINTED (PAINT MATCHES BUT I SEE MINOR IMPERFECTIONS). INTERIOR IS COMPLETELY STOCK INCLUDING THE STEREO--THE DRIVERS SEAT HAS A SMALL TEAR ON THE BACKREST AREA FROM SLIDING AGAINST THE SEAT AS YOU GET IN AND THE ASHTRAY DOOR DOESN'T CLOSE RIGHT. I HAVEN'T DRIVEN THE CAR MUCH AT ALL SINCE I BOUGHT IT, THE CAR HAS ALWAYS BEEN GARAGE KEPT UNTIL I BOUGHT IT AND I DON'T WANT TO SEE THE CAR SIT OUTSIDE THIS WINTER---I HAVE THE CAR LISTED WITH NO RESERVE AND A RIDICULOUSLY LOW OPENING BID SO I'M CONFIDENT THE CAR WILL SELL AT THE END OF THE AUCTION. THE CAR SEEMS TO HAVE ABOUT A 3 SECOND DELAY WHEN YOU PUT IT INTO DRIVE (NOT SURE WHY) WHEN THE CAR MOVES THE TRANS DOESN'T SLIP AND THE CAR SHIFTS AS IT SHOULD THROUGH ALL THE GEARS. THE EXHAUST, BRAKES, AND ALL GLASS IS GOOD, THE CAR DOESN'T SEEM TO LEAK ANYTHING AND ALL OPTIONS SEEM TO WORK AS THEY SHOULD--CAR HAS POWER WINDOWS, LOCKS, MIRRORS, TILT, CRUISE, ETC, ETC. Also of note... this thing gets a lot of looks. A LOT. Everyone seems to know the ol 5.0 LX. :) On Dec-07-11 at 15:11:50 PST, seller added the following information: Few questions and answers: Why are you selling it? I had planned to do a full restore but honestly I have too many cars right now, I need to make some room and don't want to leave this outside all winter. I need the money for other projects and hopefully I can do a 5.0 restore another day. Did it pass emissions? I did not get it tested. I had the title transferred into my name and that was it. It does have cats; it's not an offroad exhaust. But depending on where you live the restrictions are different and I can't guarantee it will pass in your county. Does the AC work? The person I bought it from says it did but I can't tell, it's been too cold lately to really test it out. It blows hard and cold but it's 50 out so it's hard to tell how much cooler it is, if at all. The heater works for sure. What about the underbody rust? I live in AZ and I know next to nothing about auto rust. I see rust on the underbody but I have no idea whether it would be considered a lot, or a problem, or anything else. My buddy looked at and suggested I do a POR-15 treatment but that's all I know. Will you warranty the car? Ok, nobody asked this, but the answer is this car is being sold with no reserve AS IS.
