Vehicle Detail

1967 15 WINDOW DELUXE BUS. Beautiful classic bus, that has a lot of work into it. New engine parts, and motor is chromed out. New tires with flat 4 chrome rims. The bussits on an air ride suspension from Air Kewld. All the new stuff was prrofessionally installed. Have two bench seats as well as the front seats. The interior is not finished, so you can choose your own colors. Floor is good. Have the replacement windows and seals boxed and ready, just have to be installed. Lights, blinkers, horn, gas gauge, all working. Speedometer and odometer currently not working. This classic bus is fun to drive and gets all the looks driving down the road.On Dec-05-11 at 22:01:22 PST, seller added the following information: Attention Bidders,I stand corrected. This is a 13 window (not 15)!Keyless pop locks have been added to the front doors so with just a click of your key remote you can pop the left, right, or both doors open.New stereo installed with 4 speakers. Antenna needs to be installed.Although the odometer is not working it has no more than 20k on the motor, and trans less than 5k.2176cc motor.Windows have all been installed except for the drivers and front passengers as seen in pictures. They are boxed and ready to go.Shifts easy and runs great! On Dec-06-11 at 23:37:26 PST, seller added the following information: YES...I will sell to overseas buyers if you make and pay for your own arrangements. I am close to the Port of Los Angeles/Long Beach.Funds need to clear first thru PayPal.Lots of questions so let me tell you what I know. I got this car for my 50th birthday 2 months ago since it was my dream car. It was purchased from a man who has done VW renovations in the past and was selling this one since he was getting married that month and had to pay for the wedding. All I really know about the bus is what he told me when I purchased it. He said he had already put over 17K worth of work into it in just restorations, engines, ect. I have his notebook with all the receipts in it. But many of them I don't know what they were for since it has an item # and price. I have a box with lots of new interior hardware for windows, doors, ect. So why am I selling ? This VW was purchased in the middle of trying to refinance my home. The only problem is the bank doesn't like to see big purchases being made when your trying to refinance. Need to sell to get my loan financed, then start my hunt again for the my VW.I took it to the local VW specialist to fix the horn, tail lights, and blinkers. I also took it to a body shop since there was a dime size hole in the passenger floor from rust. They cut out the section and welded new back in so there would be no future problems. Photo shows new floor area. Rest of the floor in the bus is pretty good. The compressor works great and raises and lowers the bus with two independant controls at the front dash. Any other questions you may have, you may have a mechanic of your choice check it out at your expense. I love this van, it's a real beauty, and I hope the new owner will love it to. ! Thanks
