1966 Pontiac GTO 2 door coupe, PHS certified, original 4 speed, 389, posi trac rear, 242 car . Car runs and drives, stops great, shifts smooth, no gas tank, so have a gas can attached to drive. This was an all original running, driving car with a maaco paint job, previous owner paid 8500, drove it home and disassembled it in his garage. It was completely ls have been chemically stripped, etch primed and epoxy primed. No rot in window channels, all channels are painted with rustoleum. Car is super solid, but needs a little outer rocker work, quarters installed, front toe board and passenger rear floorboard. Trunk is mostly solid, only a few small spots. Hood, fenders, front wheels,radiator support, and trunk lid are very solid and almost ready for paint. Car has power brakes with new master cylinder and brake lines, stops very well, no leaks. I was told the motor is a non original Pontiac 67 400 passenger car motor ( produced in 1966). It runs well, but probably could use a carb rebuilding and a tune up (floats stick in carb, need to prime with gas to get it started, sometimes it just start, and other times it needs the extra gas). Trans, shifter and posi rear are original to the car. Car has new grilles, master cylinder, spark plug wires, plugs, battery, gm gto sheilds, gm gto quarter emblems, trunk emblem, window fuzzies, door rubbers, wiper motor and more im forgetting. I have most of the trim, what you see is what you get, I dont hang on to junk or damaged parts. All the parts I have are useable, moldings are very clean and some are in duplicate. Car is equipped with 14 rally wheels bidders, factory console, headrest seats, and has the original factory rally cluster with tachometer that still works. Car is missing the gas tank, rocker moldings, headliner, carpeting and rear bumper was garbage. Car is available for inspection in N.J. at my home, with an appointment.
