Vehicle Detail
You are viewing a used Nissan Pathfinder I have for sale. I bought this a couple of months ago and I have been driving it daily and it runs great. It came from a large local car dealer that I buy trade-ins from sometimes. It has over 190,000 miles and they don't keep ones with that many miles on their lot so they just sell them. I bought it because it has four wheel drive, which my 15 1/2 year old son decided he had to have next month when he turns 16. He went to the insurance agent and found out that when you are a 16 year old male, nothing is cheap, but a four door Saturn is a lot less than a four wheel drive! So this is for sale. The engine is a 3.0 liter V-6 gasoline powered. It starts and runs great. I have never had any problem with it whatsoever. It is very neat and clean under the hood with new belts and hoses. It also has a new battery and just looks to be well maintained. The fluid levels all stay up and they also are clean looking and don't smell or look weird. Someone took good care of this vehicle. This SUV is four wheel drive. It has a four speed automatic transmission and it also has another gear shift for the four wheel drive so you can switch it from two wheel drive into neutral, four wheel drive high, or four wheel drive low. It drives and shifts smoothly and it all works good. The four wheel drive all works both in four high and four low. There is also a button on the dash where you can switch between economy and sport modes for shifting the transmission. I don't really understand what it does, but it works. The sticker on the door reads that this is a Nissan Pathfinder XE-V6 with a gross vehicle rating of 5150 lbs. The tires all match and all four are in excellent condition. I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere on them. I don't think they have much more than 1000 miles on them, they still had the little knobby things on them when I got it. They are 235-75-R15 size and have a nice medium traction tread on them. I have driven it a lot around my farm and it gets around great on them but still are not so loud like some are on the highway. The windshield, mirrors and windows are all in good shape. There is one small rock chip on the windshield that is smaller than a quarter so it can be glued to keep it from spreading. The interior is in very, very, good shape for its age and miles. I have been driving it the last couple of months and it could use dusting and vacuuming again, but it is really a very straight and clean interior - nothing broken or abused. The drivers seat is worn from use, but it is not ripped or torn. All the gauges and instruments work as they should. When I first got it, it was still summer here in Missouri and the A/C worked great and blew cold. Now that it is winter, the heat also works good. The steering wheel tilts, and the car has cruise which works great. Someone added nice deep floor mats at some point that are in good condition. The rear hatchback area is also clean and not all stained like some are. The thing has a nice radio and cassette player. I don't think it was ever smoked in and it just has a nice interior. The worst thing about this vehicle is that it is rusty in spots. As you can see in the fine photos, it is rusting through over all four of the wheel wells, the front and back bumper, and under the rear tailgate. It also is rusted on some of the window trim on the doors. The mechanical areas under the body are not rusted, but the body is as you can see. There is also rust through on the frame behind the gas tank and rear wheels - see photos. I have not had any problems with it, but I want everyone to know about the rust. And like everything on ebay, photos lie! The rust is worse on the wheel wells than you can tell from the photos. Nissans of this age bracket were bad about rusting in all the spots that this one is. Do not buy this and expect it to be a show buggy for taking your sweetie out on the town in! I think mechanically this vehicle has been very well maintained, but it does have rusted out places that you should be aware of before you buy it. This has really been a surprisingly good working vehicle. We had a problem with tresspassers around here a couple of months ago and I have used this vehicle twice a day since then to drive the roads all around our farms to keep an eye on things. It has never given me any trouble. I had to stop using my old farm truck for security duty when it got cold (no heat) and when the time changed (no headlights). It has been nice driving one around that is comfortable to sit in! This vehicle has really worked great. I have also taken a couple of trips to St. Louis and back which is about four hours round trip and it does great. I just bought a six wheel drive Polaris all terrain vehicle to make my security rounds so I no longer need this SUV. You are welcome to come check it out before the auction ends. NO RESERVE! I am starting this at 99 cents with no reserve! I thought for fun I would just see what it does. It will sell to the highest bidder here on ebay - no local sales, it won't vanish off ebay the hour before the auction ends! That always makes me mad when sellers do that. High bidder will be the new owner, I just expect that person to pay for it within one week of the auction ending. Good luck - bid high and bid often! *****Check out my other listings for some other vehicles I am also selling with NO RESERVE!***** LOCAL PICK UP I am a cattle farmer here in Mid-Missouri, so I am flexible about when you want to come and get items you have purchased from me, but I try and keep a schedule for my families benefit. I ask that you come between 9:00 in the morning and 4:00 at night. I am not available on Sundays whatsoever - that is God and family day, so don't ask! Just because I am a farmer does not mean that I am here everyday, I travel around to auctions and surplus sales and am gone several times a week. So don't do like some folks have in the past and drive 800 miles to get here and find out I am gone. You must contact me before you just show up! My granny always said that showing up unannounced was rude - you have to give people notice so they can get presentable. Trucking/airport pickup I have a local trucking company that I highly recommend that you call if you need a quote on having larger items like machinery and large trucks hauled to you. They are DAB Transport and their phone number is: (816)230-4135. They are located in Odessa, Missouri, and are just all around good folks to deal with. They are equipped to deal with about anything you need hauled, including tall bucket trucks and heavy machinery. I am located 100 miles West of the St. Louis airport, 10 miles off Interstate 70 at the Kingdom City exit #148 in Fulton, Mo, 65251. If you buy a vehicle from me and want to drive it home, there is a nice shuttle service that runs between the Kansas City (KCI) airport and the St. Louis (STL) airport. It is called: MO-X. They make a stop at my exit on I-70 at a McDonalds restaurant to pick up and drop off passengers. I can meet you in Kingdom City with your vehicle purchase so you can drive it home. There is also a local license bureau where you can buy a one way trip permit temporary tag if you want one. PAYMENT I require payment in full within one week of auctions end. Once it is paid for, there is no hurry for you to pick it up - take six months if need be! If you don't come get it after six months have passed since the end of the auction, it will be resold, and my wife gets the proceeds. If you have a legitimate reason why you need to wait longer than six months to pick up your purchase, contact me and we will work something out. If you have any questions, you can e-mail or call me at (573) 219-6611. Thanks for looking and please check out my other auctions! CONTACT ME If you have any questions about this item, or about delivery or shipping, you can call me or email me. Don't be shy! The only stupid question is the one you are afraid to ask. I prefer email as it lets me answer questions at night when I am not busy and it gives me time to find the right answer to your questions. I also run tractors and skid loaders here on the farm and a lot of times I do not hear my phone. I also live in a rural area and in a lot of places I do not get phone service. One of the places I do not get good coverage is in my shop! So if you can't get me on the phone, try back later or better yet, send me an email and I will get back with you. You can send me an email through ebay or you can send it to me directly to: olivetroad@gmail.com My cell phone number is: (573)219-6611 Check out my other items! Be sure to add me to your favorites list!
