This is a one of a kind 1953 Studebaker called “Yellow Magic”. As you can see, the car was built and raced a long time ago, probably in the 60’s. It is believed to have been raced at the old Mokan drag strip. I was told by a man who saw the car race, that it had a 427 Chevy and a 4-speed, but all that is gone. It has a late 30’s Plymouth straight-axle, a 1957 Chevy rear end with cool old-school ladder bars, a 1-piece tilting front clip, a recessed firewall, a rollcage, and a Volkswagen gas tank mounted in the trunk. Someone knocked all the glass out of it before we got it, and it’s been out in the weather, so there are a few small places where it is rusted through in the floor, and the trunk, but it is mostly solid. The car was first blue, and then red, so it may have been raced before as something other than “Yellow Magic”. During these economic times, invest in a piece of history, something tangible. Restore "Yellow Magic" to its racing condition, and show it, drive it, or even take it to the old-time drags. No title, car comes with legal, notorized bill of sale. Starting bid at $100. No reserve.
