This is my personal bike. It stays covered in the garage when not in use. It is in gorgeous condition as you can see from the pictures and has tons of extras most of them put on by the original owner who I bought it from. I will list the extras but I might miss one or two because there are so many. It has a Givi back case that is easily removable if you do not like that look. It has Givi crash bars and an adjustable windshield with extension. It has race tech on front fender from the fork stabilizers the original put on. It has ATV SE handlebar with support bar and Acerbis handguards to protect your hands from wind etc... It has a protective case under the engive for off-roading which I have never done. The engine guard also has highway footpegs attached to it for long cruises if your so inclined. I added a throttle lock type cruise control along with mirror risers and a wrist support on the throttle. I have been a goldwing guy as long as I can remember and sold my last goldwing before I retired. I bought this to cruise around town but find I miss my decked out street bikes so I am going back to one and selling this little jewel. The tires were new at 9000 miles and it now has 12000 so they are good. Registration is paid till July 2012. Don't be fooled by those saying the V-strom 1000 is better, this bike has better reviews and is fun to ride. The battery was new last year also. The only scuff mark I see is on the front left side fork by the race tech decal. It was there when I got it but unless you look for it you will not see it. This is a beautiful bike with a great color that looks great. Now the disclaimers, I am not a dealer, this bike is sold as is where is. I would not hesitate to drive this bike anywhere but a used bike is a used bike. No first time ebayers, sorry but to many problems with them. I will cancel your bid as I did to a first timer selling my motorhome last year. Contact me first no exceptions. I do not know anything about crating this for transport so buyer is responsible to arrange transport if desired. I live in Lancaster Ca and welcome anyone who would like to inspect this. All sales are final as I already have a BMW K1200 Lt that I am ready to buy. I will check email regularly so please ask question before bidding. Today as I rode I noticed a flaw I forgot to mention. The left side clutch lever has the round tip missing. It was this way when I got it. You dont notice it because the acerbis handguards but anyway I just wanted to be up front about it I did forget to say this bike does have a center stand. I HAVE HAD TWO PEOPLE ASK ME TO STORE THIS FOR THEM FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME IF THEY BUY IT. NOT SURE WHAT THAT IS ABOUT BUT I CANNOT STORE THIS FOR YOU. I TOLD THE FIRST RESPONDER YES BUT I HAVE RESENT THE EMAIL INFORMING HIM NO. I AM NOT EQUIPPED TO STORE THIS AND NOT WILLING TO ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT AFTER YOU PAY FOR IT. PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO PICK IT UP WITHIN A WEEK OR TWO. I DROPPED THE OPENING BID TO 4200.00
