1970 Honda CT-90

Up for auction is our 1970 Honda Trail 90 (CT-90) 89CC, 4-Stroke, air cooled “trail” bike. These small motorcycles feature a 4-speed, automatic clutch transmission, telescoping front forks, luggage rack, turn signals, brake light and headlight. While the turn signal switch is present someone has removed the indicators. This could be a street legal motorcycle with the addition of turn signals. We place trail in quotes because this is not intended as your typical dirt bike. It is quite at home running down a trail, ie; out camping/hunting/fishing, but is not going to hold up to the jumping and racing of a dirt bike. Our Trail 90, starts and runs and shifts through all gears. We’ve had it up to around 55MPH with no problems. New, this bike achieved close to 100MPG. We feel certain it will still be fuel efficient. This is a great substitute for a scooter with the bonus of going off road. Our bike has 1,103 original miles.This motorcycle will require some restoration to be a mint condition unit. It could reliably run down the trail today! These have also become quite collectible and the one you see pictured here would make an excellent addition to your collection.
