Vehicle Detail

Stalled project... love the truck (wonderful patina! I was not planning to paint) 1950 Chevy 3 window short bed half ton truck. Old 70's restoration/restomod. I bought with a dead engine and trans and proceeded to start from the ground up... 1973 Camaro front clip. Newer power steering pump , power front disk brakes (new rotors, calipers, and bads new in box. New master, used power assist. Adjustable brake rod. new Camaro hi-lift coil springs (unless you like the low rider look) None of the new stuff installed except the master. 15x7 Chevy rallys in the front with new '50 Chevy truck centers, trim rings, and fresh modern rubber (BFG T/A 225/70R15). New lug nuts even. 1973 Camaro rear axle (new shoes and wheel cylinders still in the box). Optionally have a new 3.46 modern locker rear and rear disk brake setup. 15x8 rallys, '50 truck centers, trim rings, and the biggest modern rubber I could fit (BFG T/A 255/60R15). Have relocation pads if you want to drop the axle back a couple of inches. Tires newly purchased and mounted... never even on the truck! All new (custom length) hard and flex brake lines for it... new in the box. 350 engine/ Performer RPM manifold/ Edelbrock 4bbl / modern HEI / new OEM manifolds (fit better than headers)/ new dual exhaust and mufflers (set up for O2 sensors if you want to go EFI) new in box. Fresh 350 trans. (driveshaft was set up for PG trans so will need to be shortened; shift linkage may need work as well or go with a Lokar floor shifter). Lots of stainless hardware. New plug wires, cap, rotor, sweet allow top fuel air cleaner, etc. Have a new high dollar custom made aluminum radiator (with trans cooler built in)...will cool a blown big block if you so choose. Good alternator, fresh lifetime warranty starter. Aftermarket hot rod heater setup (AC is easily added), Camaro steering column (have killer rat rod wheel that can optionally go with it). Flex fan (will need spacer) and new electric fan. Used trans cooler also included. Body is pretty solid... old rust repairs in the cabs corners... only serious rust is on rear fenders... two AZ fenders come with it. I was not going to mess with the bed... like the paint it's solid, functional, and I liked the patina. Factory bumpers and a modern receiver hitch (not installed). Even have period fabric to recover the factory seat in (though the factory seat looks pretty good). New headliner in the box. New battery this summer. New fancy aftermarket horns in the box. Likely a lot of new stuff I don't even recall... in a big pile in the garage! Need modern gauges (some come with it), a stereo (have an OEM speaker panel to replace the one cut for the cheap stereo). Fuel sender (in the stock in cab fuel tank) does not work. Still has (marginally functional) vacuum wipers. Parking brake needs to be hooked up. Currently have the front clip off to install the new engine, etc... and that's where I stalled . Engine is in but not hooked up. Most of the parts new in boxes. Have nearly everything needed to assemble... add some time and see a 150% return on your money... Hi-res current photos (including all of the known rust issues) at http://fnader.com/50chevy.htm Come check it out and make an offer. Asking $4999 (a lot less than I have in it). Clear title.
