Just in time for winter is a low reserve auction for my 2002 Diesel Ford Excursion XLT 4x4 with the Legendary 7.3L motor. I purchased this great vehicle in early September 2011 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida from the original owner, so I could move back to Pennsylvania/NJ while pulling a U-Haul trailer. The truck drove perfectly on my trip and the only reason I am selling it is because I dont need a big SUV anymore. It does however get 19-20 MPG. Prior to buying this Excursion I had it checked out by the head diesel mechanic at Mullinax Ford in North Palm Beach, FL. He said it was in surprisingly great condition since most of the 7.3's are used hard. It only needed 2 repairs which I had done immediately after purchase (fuel heater and glow plug). Front end was checked by mechanic as well and there was NO "play" or loose parts. There were 2 small chips in the windshield so I took advantage of Florida's no deductible clause for windshield repairs, and had a brand new one installed for free. Nice Crystal Clear View! It has a RUST FREE white exterior with nice tan interior. Seat covers were used on front seats by the original owner for the life of this truck, and the rears were never sat in. Never smoked in either. Newer (Top of the Line) Pirelli A/T tires I purchased in September 2011 (Cost $1000) This 7.3L motor was made by International (Navistar), and is the best diesel motor Ford has ever used. I know cars pretty well and wanted a 7.3L motor that just turned 200k because I knew I could get a great vehicle for a reasonable price. One of my friends has an auto parts store and uses an older F350 to transport parts, and their 7.3L has over 1 MILLION MILES! (True Story and you can Google "million mile 7.3" for proof). Although the autocheck shows an accident, it was only a minor bump with another vehicle and I promise it was nothing major. It happened over 150,000 miles ago and the truck is still running great which tells it wasn't a big deal. Autocheck simply shows all records no matter how minor. My mechanic confirmed that there was NO AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT OR FRAME DAMAGE. I am only mentioning this because I take my ebay feedback seriously and believe in full disclosure of any and all issues/concerns.
