1973 Pontiac Grand Am. Original 455 car with original engine. This is the first year the car was made and the biggest engine combo. The car was originally white but was taken apart stripped to metal and all body work done and painted black several years ago. This is a very rust free car. Paint is not perfect now but is still in good shape. To be a show car the top will need repainted and the car repainted but not restored. When I redid the car several years ago the car was stripped to metal the bodywork was done, it was sprayed with epoxy primer and urethane primer and then painted with single stage paint and clearcoated with urethane paints. The car has new carpet, I purchased the hard to find sail panels for 400.00, it has 2 sets of door panels and interior, cd player, the interior only needs seat covers and a dash cover or pad, I have a extra console that is also red. I Have a really nice grant steering wheel that is new in the box that cost over 100.00. The car has 3 inch exhaust mandrel bent with a x crossover through Dynomax long case super turbos. The front end has been completely rebuilt with Moog components. It has KYB adjustable shocks all the way around. I have "In Designs" Dash wood grain insert reproductions that go around the instrument cluster and on the dash new in the box. The car has a 1973 GTO NASA cowl induction original hood. These are very sought after and are worth a lot of money by themselves. The car has 1981 turbo trans am 15" x 8" Wheels that have been polished and re sealed to keep luster. The car has new Big tires. The trunk was restored and clear coated. I have a set of 6x 4 heads that need rebuilt that go with car. It has 2 quadrajet carbs in good condition, one is a 750 the other is rebuilt and is a 830cfm it needs throttle shaft bushings. Turbo 400 single track diff. Balanced, line honed, and bored block, cam bearings installed, decked. 400 block has been hard blocked with Kens speed and machine hardblock compound. Brass freeze plugs. Eagle 4.25 stroke crankshaft. Eagle H beam 6.80 BBC connecting rods, one of the best rods made. BRP Forged custom dished pistons two eyebrows, full floating lock retainers and pins. Billet timing chain. Melling Oil pump I think it a 54d. Felpro blue race gaskets the good set. BOP rear crankshaft seal. Rebuilt timing chain cover with new cooling inserts, has been adjusted by jim hands specs with new NAPA aluminum water pump. New Crankshaft scrapper. Heavy duty flex plate race approved. Heads are 1967 670. Fully ported to 235cfm intakes according to Pete McCarthys' Specs. Pressure tested. Stainless 2.11 1.77 valves. Heads were rebuilt by Central Virgina Machine (a Pontiac machine shop)and one port flow tested at unknown inches of water. Competition 3 angle valve job, new hardened exhaust seats, bronze guides not inserts, new springs, locks and retainers, nylon pc seals. I have 2000.00 in these heads and just paid 800.00 for recent work. I was told these heads and this combination will make 500hp and 550flbs at a streetable rpm by Central Virginia Machine, They ran the calculations on a computer program. Heads have never been run ready and are assembled. I have Harlan Sharp 1.65 roller rockers new in box and also a set of comp cams used roller tip rockers. Performer RPM intake and Performer Intake 2 total. I have a 4 row griffin aluminum radiator and two electric fans and a good clutch style fan. Here is the deal you get a rare muscle car with the original engine that runs but needs gone through. It has oil pressure problem. The body is in good shape but not show shape. The interior is in good shape but needs front seat covers and a dash pad. You get a 5000.00+ stroker engine that is new at the machine shop and the block is ready to assemble The Rebuilt 670 heads are one of the best factory street heads made are fully ported flow tested and assembled. You need to measure and get the correct push rods. Engine needs installed. Also included a high torque mini starter and a fast ratio monte carlo ss steering box new in the box and tri y headers.
