1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer This Jeep belongs to my friend’s father. I am helping him sell it. I will tell you all I know but if you have questions I may have to ask him and get back to you. I would like to start by saying this is a project for somebody. It is a vehicle that runs and drives but it is not 100% perfect. It is solid overall but it will need mechanical as well as interior and body repairs. There are spots that have surface rust and areas where the paint is faded, scratched or missing. There are also some small areas where the rust is through the metal (such as the quarter panels behind the wheel opening). I also believe there is rust on the skid plate which protects the gas tank. The key does not work well in the door, The rear window does not work and the power locks do not work, the engine has some noise but I am not sure what it is. The interior has cracking in some of the leather and the rear interior panel is off the inside of the tailgate. I encourage all interested parties to come and see this Jeep All this being stated, this Wagoneer has the potential to be a good solid SUV!!! If you are handy this may be a good chance to own a nice one for a lot less then you would pay for the finshed product anywhere else.
