Vehicle Detail

Ok, this is hard but I am selling my Chevelle. Its got a beautiful Black Sand Pearl paint job, with silver pearl ghost flames. Interior is reupolstered original. New seats, Dash pad, carpet, seat belts, everything. The engine is a smooth running 350 automatic so its great on long drives. The engine has chrome valve covers, chrome alternator, Chrome water pump, ceramic headers with Flow master 40s. 550 CFM carburator topped with a K&N Air Cleaner. Electronic ignition, 4 wheel Power Disc Brakes (ya gotta stop), Power Steering, Power Locks, Security system, AM/FM/CD/MP3 player. Hurst Shifter, Tinted windows, 15x7 Cragars with 225 BF Goodrich front and 15x8 Deep dish Cragars with 285s on back. All rubber has less than 5,000 miles on them. Great Airconditioning, All Chrome is in great shape, no paint fading, everything works just fine. Engine has about 85,000 miles on it, give or take, with the broken speedo, and was rebuilt along with the transmission about 5,000 miles ago. Oil gets changed every 3,000 miles no matter what. Given the broken speedo, I estimate based on my GPS. This is a driver, not a drag car. Its been shown several times and scores well, I just am not into spending all day with a tooth brush cleaning it for a show. its great on long trips. Now for the less than stellar stuff. Couple minor paint issues on back trunk, rear package tray needs to be replaced, the 110 degree temps in Dallas reek havok on this stuff, two rear valances need to be replaced. I have ordered new ones and getting NOS. The speedometer quit working a month ago and I got a new one to go in it.all the other guages work just fine including the steering column mounted Tach. Thats about it. Doesnt burn oil, but runs a little rich, thats why I went to a 550 CFM from a 750 CFM carb which is an Edelbrock. Starts up great first time, but it uses a manual choke. Kinda old school but thats how I like it. I will get pics of the interior soon and post them. Feel free to come by and look at it, and you can have it checked out by a mechanic prior to auction close. Please remember, this auction is to buy not the right to look it over and decide later if you are going to buy it.I am selling locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction if I get an offer I can't refuse. Shipping is on you, let me know what you need done and I will help you. I am describing the car as best I can, feel free to ask questions, but I am not providing a warranty. While I know of no issues with this vehicle mechanically or cosmetically, its up to you to investigate the car's condition and bid accordingly. This is a great car in great condition and is a real head turner. On Nov-21-11 at 09:22:16 PST, seller added the following information: The car has always been garage kept until one month ago. I had a shop that i kept all my automotive toys, but it got sold and I needed to move. While I am looking for someplace else, it sits covered in my drive way.On Nov-23-11 at 22:32:59 PST, seller added the following information: almost forgot the coolest part of the car is the working cowl induction hood.
