PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO READ THIS AD FULLY!!!!!!! *********THE FENTON SLOTS SHOWN ON THE CAR,DO NOT COME WITH THE CAR,IT WILL COME WITH THE ORIGINAL WHEELS,TIRES,AND HUBCAPS.See photos********* This is for a 1964 Buick Special Convertible.This is like a Skylark but was the cheaper version.The only options this car has is power top and Automatic Trans(2 speed)The original Fireball v-6 nailhead runs great and the car actually drives well,but needs a brake line fixed on the rear.It will lot drive with the e brake for loading.It has manual steering which is still very tight with hardly any play and actually steers very easily.I believe the miles are correct,but I have no way of proving it.The car needs a full resto or fix the brakes and drive it like it is rat rod style.******THE FENTON SLOTS SHOWN ON THE CAR IN THE PHOTOS,DO NOT COME WITH THE CAR,IT WILL COME WITH THE ORIGINAL WHEELS,TIRES,AND HUBCAPS.See photos******* The top frame is good but the fabric is gone.I disconected the cylinders and let it down manually.The pump motor is not working,but I have not even checked to see if it is getting power.The front seat is still good but the back seat is bad.The car is actually fairly solid for a old convertible.The floor pans are very good, as are the rockers and cowl area.There is NO rust across the dash.The windshield and all glass is very good.The dash is in very good shape with clear gauges and a very good dash pad.The doors are very solid also.They open and shut great with no sag at all.The little v-6 dosen't smoke,knock or tick.Even the automatic choke still works.The motor is Very clean on the inside.The hood is very good and the car is very straight.It needs a trunk pan and some lower quarter work.There is some rust at the bottom of the front fenders but they can be saved.The trunk lid has some rust on the inside,it might can be saved.The drip well is rusted through where the weatherstripping goes up at the top center of the trunk lid on the underside.I took photos of the top and bottom of it.See photos.This is really the worst area on the car.That I have seen.The car was stored inside since the late 80's.Please be realistic and Keep in mind it is not a car you are going to get in and drive home.It will have to be transported.I bought this car originally for a parts car for another I had but it is too good in my opinion to cut up.The photos tell the story and the car is priced right.**** It will be SOLD AS IS.*****The photos on this one speak for themselfs!!!!***************THE FENTON SLOTS SHOWN ON THE CAR,WILL NOT COME WITH IT,ONLY THE ORIGINAL WHEELS,TIRES,AND HUBCAPS ONLY*********The original tires are all a matched set of Uniroyal Wide whites and have virtually no miles on them but they are badly dryrotted.They hold air fine for moving the car around.See my other items for sale.I can arrange to have it delivered for you,if you like.Email for a Quote!!
