Truck drives like a dream, sounds really nice, responds fast, has great stability and control. This truck is so on the ground that it feels just like you are driving a dually. The transmission shifts so smooth you won't even notice it's shifting. No leaks, no smoke, no warning lights on the gauge. To top everything off, this truck is extremely economic. We are getting about 19.2 mpg on highway @65mph. But it all depends on how you drive. Proper oil change and tire pressure also play a big role on fuel consumption, so good maintenance is key to any truck. This truck is very easy to maintain and the 6.0 is the best motor Ford has on the market. It combines the best features of all the motors from the last decade - it's fast like the 6.4, but reliable and easy to work on like the 7.3. We installed a bypass on the EGR, so you can drive with peace of mind that this truck has plenty of hundred thousand miles to go before it will give you any headaches. EXTERIOR The exterior is nearly perfect, no dents or flaws to report. Tires are like new. Underneath truck looks clean, no rust - everything is original, no undercoat to hide rust. INTERIOR Truck is clean and overall excellent condition. Leather on seats are in excellent condition. Carpet is also clean, stain and damage free. Dash is neat and the inboard computer has all information and controls at your fingertips. All power windows, door locks, rear sliding window, power mirrors and power adjusting pedals work. AC blows super cold. CD player works fine and sound is loud and clear. WHAT WE DID Truck has a Salvage title due to Collision. It was hit on the front driver side and we replaced the following parts: Hood, left fender, fender support, header panel, headlights, front bumper, and grille. The brackets that hold the front axle were loose, so we fix them as well. We install 18" ford oem rims and like new Continental 275/70R18 tires. We replaced the tailgate that had some dents and installed a 2008 super duty tailgate and tail lights. Truck started right up and other than a complete oil change (engine and transmission) we didn't do anything to it mechanically. Everything else look to be Ford original. We installed a 5th wheel gooseneck hitch on the truck. The trailer brake control was already installed. It has the muscle to pull anything without compromising comfort or safety. If you are a stock king of guy, this truck is all you are looking for. But if you like toys and gadgets, this truck got potential! You can install a nice 5" performance exhaust system, dvd/navigation to replace to stock radio, and lift the truck a few inches. It would go from nice to awesome! We try, however, to keep them as stock and original as possible and leave the "play with toys" part to the new owner as we understand taste is just like a face, we all have a different one. AFTER THE PRUCHASE We chose not to inspect the truck in Florida just yet because we know that there are some states that will issue a clean title after truck goes for inspection. So we will give you all paperwork you need to get it inspected it in your own state. If you are a FL buyer, we will have to inspect it for you prior to registering the truck. We fix our trucks right, using either brand new or quality used OEM Ford parts only. We are confident on the trucks we have, and if we don't sell it, we just keep it for a while and have no problems driving it. This way we can assure we are delivering the best truck that we can and you can drive safe and pleased with what you got. Truck is priced right to make new owner happy with the purchase. And we strongly believe this truck is worth every penny you will pay for!!! We encourage you to come see and drive the truck as we believe it's way better in person than on the pictures. Salvage is the way to go when you don't want to pay big bucks for a truck and not loose a lot of money when you sell it. ***** There are over 80 pictures for you to see at http://www.flickr.com/photos/39947792@N03/sets/72157628141999858/ Truck is located in Orlando, FL and we can ship it anywhere in the US for a super low price - email us with your zip code for a quote. SALVAGE FACTS If you are considering buying a salvage vehicle but not sure how it works, here is some step-by-step info we put together to help you out. Remember that laws change from state to state, but this is pretty standard for all Motor Vehicle Departments. There are some states, however, that will give you a clean title after the truck passes the inspection. For further info, visit your local DMV website or give them a call. Step 1 Once you receive your vehicle, save the receipts for the parts used and labor involved on repairing the truck. Step 2 Contact your local DMV to schedule a salvage inspection. Step 3 By the time of inspection, you will have to fill out a DMV form with the vehicle information and list all major parts/components replaced on the vehicle and attach the receipts. Step 4 Once the vehicle passes inspection, you can go and register it just like any other vehicle. In most states you will receive a rebuilt salvage title, but in some states, you may even get a clean title afterwards. Check your local DMV for details.
