Vehicle Detail
1979 Lincoln Town Coupe Fully loaded with all the power luxuries in this rare model. A/C needs charged. Most buyers of the day that wanted 2 dr. leaned towards the Mark Series making this a unique model. Complete with a strong 400 Ford V8 that runs whisper quiet. The automatic trans shift as it should with no leaks. The car was originally a Colorado car but was purchased by the 2nd owner and brought to the desert shortly after, preserving the frame, floor and sheet metal. There is NO rust anywhere. A SOLID desert car. My son and I purchased this car 4 years ago as his first car, but he is now a starving college student and has decided to sell. Quarter vinyl top beginning to split in spots. Tires are near new, good brakes, new windshield. Maintained locally at Havasu Muffler and Briles Automotive. Drive with confidence as it is or make it your own. This car is a reliable driver and just cool..lots of smiles and thumbs up. If you are looking for a mint Pebble Beach Concours car ..keep looking.. as this is just a solid piece of American Iron. Clear Arizona title. More photos available. Priced to sell ! Please call or email with any questions you may have. In response to questions: the mileage is unknown. I bought it from the 2nd owner and he assured me it was under 100K the odometer stopped at 99K I have no reason not to believe him but of course I cannot assume anything, however the engine runs strong with good compression so it could be.My son put approx 10K on it locally and a couple of SoCal trips with no problems. The car is old but I would NOT put my son in junk.also the paint is original albeit faded on top due to the desert sun. check out the new pics. call or e-mail for more info
