Here is a Porsche 912 that spent most of its life in sunny Arizona. 5 speed transmission. It has all its original sheet metal and has never been restored, only repainted in white many years ago. The original color is Bahama yellow and it should be restored to its original " Rare color". The car has been in Wisconsin for enough time to make the floor panels rusty. All the major suspension points are great and also the inside of the fenders look super. I have taken a picture of one of the inside of the doors to show how solid they are. The tow hook area in the front would need a patch/repair. This car needs carburator work as it pops and sputters " Solex" - the guy I got it from said a float could have a leak in it? He had rebuilt them and had a tough time setting the float levels etc. It runs and drives with no ill noises from the engine and zero smoke. I have done a compression test with #s from 155 to 170Lbs.The engine was rebuilt and a big bore kit installed in 1994 by a shop in Brookfield Wi , at that time new bearings were installed also heads done with new seals etc. It just needs a good set of Webers to make it really run. It is the original matching # engine for the car. The window on the passenger side door is hard to operate and the door needs to be taken apart to fix it, I did buy a used window track on Ebay for it. The chrome wheels are correct and are decent driver quality. This car has hail damage, not horrible but enough to be visible. Some of the hail damage can be seen in the photo showing the hood from the side. The rocker panel on the drivers side has small holes in it and the jacking point on the passenger side also needs repair. It needs floors, but they are the originals and the most damage would be toward the center. Most of the outer edges around the floor are very solid. I want the new owner of this car to be happy with the purchase and I have no problem showing car and offer inspections and test drives. I have 100% feedback and would like to keep it that way, bid with confidence. It is a car that drives straight and with some work could be a very nice car.On Nov-15-11 at 11:00:38 PST, seller added the following information: FOR ANYONE REQUESTING MORE PHOTOS PLEASE INCLUDED YOUR EMAIL AND I'LL SEND THEM TO YOU.
