This is a re-list. The last bidder did not pay. Their loss could be your gain! This will be the last time I will list this on here. It is set at what I could get for it if I part and scrap it and that is what will happen if it is not sold on here. If there are no bids on it halfway through the auction, I will take it down early and get started. It is a shame too, this was a great car to drive.**I had to cancel and re-list this because I want to be as upfront as possible. I performed the winter oil change for this car. After changing it with the usual synthetic oil and Mobile 1 Filter, I noticed it is making a noise in the engine at 2,000 rpm range, I didn't let it go above that so I don't know if it disappears after that.). I am not sure if it is just the lifters sticking or a more serious noise. Even I didn't hear it right away. Because of this, I have drastically lowered the reserve price just in case it is serious. If it is something simple, then my fear will just have worked to your advantage.** Up For sale is a 1997 Buick Pare Avenue Ultra. If you are familiar with these you know the 3800 series motor in these run forever. This car has almost 300.000 (closer to 297,000) miles and going strong. If you are concerned about the miles, look up the KBB and you will see it is still worth about $2200 in it's condition. There are a few little things overall it could use considering it is a car that is from 1997. This car has as dual heated leather seats, a SUPERCHARGED 3800 engine! THIS MODEL EVEN HAS THE HEADS-UP DISPLAY! That feature allows the speed limit to be digitally posted on your windshield so you don't have to see the speedometer at night. The alternator, belt tensioner, serpentine belt, radiator, ball joints, and battery have all been recently replaced. This car also gets full synthetic oil changes and premium fuel. The catalytic converter was also replaced within the last 3 years. This car also has an ftermarket HID bulb kit for the regular and high beam headlights. You may notice some color in the pics, but in person, they are much more intense. The car has either belt or pulley squeal when you first start it. It mostly disappears after a few minutes. The traction control/abs light was on so I took the bulbs out but are still in the car. The Buick dealership said the speed sensors are the cause. The front two weel bearings were replaced within the last 3 years. Interior has normal wear for a 97. The inside driver side pillar cover by the seatbelt came off but I have the old one if you want to try and mount it back up. Power seats need a new fuse and the driver seat control housing needs put back on the side of the seat, it hangs connected, but loose currently. The seat is set up for a taller driver currently. Exterior paint is worn and there are 2 or so smaller rust spots by the lower front door. This car is 13 years old so there are things that you need to expect it to need. This car is comfortable and roomy and if there is someone who could benefit from driving it, I would be glad to sell it to them. This car is not for tire kickers.
