1971 CAMARO (possibly an SS) NEW LOWER RESERVE - dont miss this one ! Either way, this is a well optioned, super clean body Rust Free Az car that even with paint and minor interior work would be worth 15k or more even as a clone. Drivetrain and suspension are great... Interior good for a daily driver, with some finishing touches it would be choice. Paint would be easy with such a clean Az body / chassis. AC PDB floor shift auto and much more... 350 rebuilt / Auto floor shift trans Last owner had this car for over 15 yrs here in Az I believe this to be a real SS from what info the last owner passed on to us and the originality of the car. Front and Rear Spoilers I believe to be GM items (not repops) multi leaf springs and factory sway bars f/r too. RESTORED BACK TO STOCK , IT WILL ONLY GO UP IN VALUE AS WE ALL KNOW ORIGINALLY THIS CAR WAS A GREAT MUSCLE CAR COLOR LIME GREEN with matching interior. Obviously its been repainted at least once about 20 yrs ago this purplish color. Clearly showing its age, would be great to put it back to the factory GREEN with black or white stripes. Bid it to win it ! dont regret you didnt later ! If you can find a more rust free unmolested 71 Camaro out there for better money, by all means go buy it. If you can find one as well represented as our 71 Camaro, by all means, buy it. But if you buy another one, we wish you the best. Starts up and runs great for its age, hardly driven much in the last 10 yrs. Started needs to be shimmed, but it always starts up fine. Ive been driving this thing around town several times the last few weeks. It gets alot of looks, runs great too !! It drives well too. Motor had a mild rebuild about 8 yrs ago, but not driven much sense. I would have no problem hopping in this car and going anywhere. Shows 85k on the odometer, probably turned over at some time. Most of the important trim and components all there making the restoration more Original and easier. Interior: Clean, but showing some Age from the AZ sun. Last owner did some aftermarket gauges in the dash, not great but they are okay. Id redo it nicer or back to factory. Gas gauge doesnt always work and not accurate. Obviously this is not a restored car. Most of these cars were run into the ground and really USED up as you might expect them to be. The cars body and chassis are very clean and RUST FREE Windows rattle some in the doors and it does have PW. They are only original ONCE. Anyone can throw shiney paint and a bunch of off the shelf aftermarket parts on a car and say its "restored" But the value for your $ doesnt make worth buying. 71 SS CAMAROS restored back to the way it came off the showroom have excellent values. ALSO, DR SIDE WINDOW LOOSE IN THE TRACKS AND RATTLES SOME, but both PW Work from the center console switches. The Turbo style mufflers are also not loud and obnoxious like the typical Flowmaster everyone uses even with the headers. Carpet is original, the build sheet could possibly be under it still or on top of the gastank. We have yet to locate it. Very driveable on long trips and full length pipes look as good as it sounds.
