Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1968 ford mustang convertible. We bought this car with the desire to build a Shelby GT350 conv clone. The underside is original and very nice. The previous owner made a small repair to the right front floor. The rest of the underside is beautiful. it has never been undercoated. You can see everything. It would make a great candidate for a rotissoire restoration. The car has had 1 repaint approximately 22 years ago, in it's original pale blue color. He installed 2 new ford front fenders and repaired the bottom of the original quarter panels. It has held up well for the age, but is not show quality. it has had some minor bumps, scratches, and nicks touched up. Still presentable as a "driver". the only rust showing are a few small pimples on the front lower corner of each door. the camera has trouble picking them up. The 289 engine and 3 speed trans are belived to be the original to the car. It runs good and drives good. I replaced the front wheel cylinders, hoses, and brake shoes. The interior is nice, with new seat covers. The top is brand new too. GT wheels with new tires. Most all of the chrome has been replaced too. It needs a new heater core and is included with the car. It is a great car to drive or restore into a show stopper. Please call mark at 540-974-2110 to arrange a test drive. The car is located in Wincheser VA, along I81 about 1 hour west of Washington DC. swaps? possible? On Oct-24-11 at 17:52:38 PDT, seller added the following information: It has single exhaust. Honestly, it needs a new muffler and tail pipe. I was going to put dual flowmasters on it ,but I didn't becuse what sounds good to me might be too loud for the next guy. Exhaust is an easy thing to personalize.
