Reluctantly selling my 1984 El Camino. This El Runs strong- drives like a couch with a beast engine. I bought it to restore but the only thing it really needs is body work. There is a lot of rust that does not show in the pictures- but believe me, there is a lot of rust. The interior is nice with an aftermarket stereo system. I am not at all mechanically inclined but the El drives tip-top- smooth shifting automatic with incredible pickup. I know it has a 5.7 V8 but I do not think it is the original motor as it has aftermarket Edelbrock stuff (see picture). There is a spray on type bedliner that has cracks in the liner now. The rear tires are much wider than the front- the rear tires are good but the front tires need to be replaced soon. The El is equipped with a sunroof and aftermarket dual exhaust. I drive this vehicle almost every day and have taken it across the state several times without incident. I love this El but I have to sell it. Comes with a car cover.
