1965 BUICK RIVIERA Here is an opportunity to own one of my all time favorite classic cars...the 1965 Buick Riviera. This car is mostly complete and mostly original. The car is however a project as it’s been sitting for sometime. I believe the car still has the original 401 V8, it also came with Air Conditioning, Tilt Wheel, Cruise Control, Power Windows, Power Steering, Power Brakes and of course the famous clam shell hide-a-way headlights. The body of the car is very straight and very solid. The original floors and trunk pans remain solid. There is a few area where filler was used and a little bubbling under the paint. But not much. The glass shows no cracks. Most all the chrome trim is in good shape and present, I know of only two missing sections, one rear window piece and over the headlights on one side. The car appears to have originally been silver or grey with a dark green interior. The original seats are there. The back seats are quite nice, the front buckets need upholstery. The dash pad is cracked up and the carpet is gone. The motor appears to be the original and the past owner said he had it running a few months back and that it sounded good. I will get it running so that the winner can drive it up on a trailer. The brakes do have pressure. All in all this car has great bones for a restoration. It doesn’t seem like it would take much to get her on the road again. I own the car free and clear and will offer you a notarized bill of sale which is all you need to get a title through International Title Company in Las Vegas.
