Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is an 88 convertible RX-7 with full turbo conversion. The car has a carbon fiber hood (clear coat is cracked and needs reshot, but hood itself is fine). The AC needs to be serviced. There are two small dents, one on the left rear quarter and one on the right front corner. Nothing major but pictures will show. There’s a small amount of surface rust beginning to show on driver side door near window rail and along the inside door jam. Driver seat spring-release is broken so seat does not move forward or aft. The key is worn down so one will need to be sure to make sure it is in the run position to ensure all internal components will work, i.e. top motors, etc. Finally, as with most RX-7’s, there is a flooding issue so a hidden fuel pump kill switch is installed inside the car for ease of use, and the idle fluctuates due to the port job, etc.Shipping will be at purchaser expense. Of course, I am willing to assist with helping the shipping company by meeting them within an acceptable range, but everything will need to be set up and paid for by the purchaser. Local pick up is also available. The car is also being sold locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early if needed. Car is being sold “As Is,” and no refunds or returns are accepted. Interior:Custom Boost and & Air/Fuel gauges in glove box. Bracket leaves small room for storage underneath. Dash is in great shape with the typical cracks in the louvers, etc. not being an issue. Custom Seat Covers: Little old but still look good. Original seats underneath have hard leather and are worn. Speakers: Front, Door, and Headrest speakers are JL Audio. There is a Phoenix Gold amp under rear spare tire deck with 10in Sub. Unfortunately, it is going in and out so I think the amp may be letting go. Everything connects to Pioneer head unit. Carpet: Stained and either needs to be thoroughly cleaned or replaced.Top: New…installed approximately 3 months ago. As with all convertible RX-7’s the top leaks from time to time but nothing too serious.
