Vehicle Detail
Greetings, You are bidding on a numbers matching 1965 Chevrolet Bel-Air sedan in good condition. This is a running, driving, project vehicle in need of work. This Chevy is equiped with a 283 2bl V8 and 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. The car has no power options or AC. This is a radio delete car. The car rolls on old-style Crager S/S mag wheels. Five matching original equipment wheels and dog-dish hub caps are included. This Chevy would make an easy restoration project for someone. The engine runs well and does not smoke. The transmissions operates properly. All the glass is good. The front grill and both front and rear bumpers are in very nice condition. The interior is original and in good shape for a vehicle of this age. It will need a headliner and the seats will need to be recovered. The original blue carpet is still in nice shape. The door panels are good. This car was reported to have just over 79,000 actual miles by the previous owner who bought it from the original family. He drove it from Denver to Colorado Springs with no issues. The car will need upper-control arm bushings and rear trailing arm bushings as the originals are worn. Also the heater core will need to be replaced. It was leaking and has been bypassed. It has a new battery. The body of this car is pretty straight. It has some miner collision damage to the left rear quarter panel. The car still has the original factory blue paint. The top has surface rust only. There is a small amount of rust at the bottom of both rear quarter panels and at the bottom of both front fenders that I believe could be repaired with patch panels. This old Chevy is being offered at a low opening bid and NO Reserve. I have a clear Colorado title in hand. A $250.00 deposit is required. The buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements. I can deliver to a local shipper such as DAS. Please ask questions before bidding. Thanks for your consideration...
