ACM AFFORDABLE CLASSICS MOTORCARS LLC QUALITY AND VALUE AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE *****PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO SEE 75 HIGH RESOLUTION PHOTOGRAPHS***** “Lincoln Mark III … The most authoritatively styled, decisively individual motor car of this generation.” These are the words Ford Motor Company used to introduce its brand new personal luxury coupe in April 1968. Designed to directly compete with Cadillac’s Eldorado, the Mark III’s sales surpassed those of the Eldorado in the first year of its production. The buying public endorsed the Mark III—and with good reason. From its elegantly styled grille to its distinctive rear deck lid, the 365 horsepower Mark III is a car that impressed. What sets this gorgeous Mark III apart from others is the fact that it has travelled less than 19,000 miles in its 42 year life. In addition, more cannot be said about its particularly striking color combination—its Red exterior and Black Calvary Twill vinyl top contrast beautifully with its White leather interior. Collector desirability in classic cars is often not solely about make, model, and condition, but also about color. High impact color combinations are most desired, and this Mark III’s definitely makes a statement. This classic’s finish has a brilliant luster which is further accentuated by its tasteful use of chrome. Its grille and front and rear bumpers have been recently professionally rechromed, and they exhibit a mirror-like reflection. In addition, the vinyl top is in excellent condition and shows as new. Its interior shows similarly, with only the most minimal wear on its leather seats. The dash board and interior door panels are free of any cracks and are in excellent condition, as is the carpeting. Its wood grained steering wheel is also in excellent condition. Best of all, this classic runs and drives as beautifully as it looks—its 365 HP 460 CID V-8 moving the car with authority. In addition to this Mark III’s full complement of standard luxury, convenience, and performance features including power windows, power seat, dual exhaust system, rear lamp monitoring system, you will also appreciate this car’s optional equipment, including the following: · Leather interior · 6 way power driver and passenger seats · Air conditioner with Automatic Temperature Control · AM/FM stereo radio · Rear defogger · Speed control · Tilt steering wheel The car’s air conditioning is ice cold, and all power options work as they should with the exception of the power antenna and Cartier clock. Other items of note are that there is a small hole in the interior headliner, and the left rear arm rest has become loose. Additionally, the headlamp covers do not remain closed for prolonged periods when the car is not running. In addition, the exterior mirror, door handles, and chrome trim behind the rear side windows exhibits pitting. The paint is beautiful, but does exhibit some minor imperfections that do not detract from the overall appearance of the car. This car was originally purchased by Leah Coblitz, and was subsequently purchased by her brother-in-law. It was stored for many years as a part of a 14 car collection of low mileage cars. The most recent owner has enjoyed this car since 2008, always ensuring that it was properly stored and maintained. If an extremely low mileage Mark III in a high impact color combination is what you desire, this classic is for you.
