Here is your chance to own a unique vehicle that could be used an attention getting land mark for your business or turn it into a perfect rat rod truck. It has patina that you can not duplicate. I bought the truck 5 years ago to us the cab and flathead for a ratrod. I parked it in front of my garage and it turned into what you see, Good Ol' "Mater".It was worth much more as Mater than tearing it apart. I hate to sell it but my business closed and it is just sitting and do not want it vandelized. It is a 1942 Ford Tow truck with a V-8 flathead, four speed trans w/pto to run winchs and split booms. Truck has 39084 miles on speedo and I would guess that looks correct by the wear on the clutch and brake pedals. You know the old saying" It was running when it was parked 30 years ago". It might have been, but not now. The motor did not want to turn over so I put diesel and used motor oil it to the top and took out the plugs and did the same. After that I have done nothing. I can say it does not leak, not one drop has dripped. The original steering wheel locking key is still in the lock. There is rust in the door bottoms and cab corners.The rest of the cab is solid. As you can see the floor is gone. The jail bar grill is in good condition and all bars are straight. If you have any questions or need more pictures I will send them along to you. This truck does not run and will need to be towed. I am going by the bill of sale I got when I bought it.
