The NSX has been acclaimed by the automotive press as the "best sports car of all time", due to it's balance, reliability and driver feel. It was engineering in the finest tradition of 3 liter sports cars. This is a stunning black 1994 with a JDM engine installed a few years ago. This is really a great car: It looks and runs excellent. 1994 is one of the first most sought after years for NSX's. I am the second owner and have maintained it carefully. Engine & Running Gear The car is mechanically excellent. The JDM engine was installed in 1994 by South Coast Acura, and now has approximately 58,000 miles. I have all receipts. All belts, timing belt, water pump, etc were also new at that time and I added Comptech's polished stainless steel headers and a DC Sports stainless steel exhaust. This past year I replaced one of the catalytic converters, and the car is smog legal and passes smog inspections just fine. I just had the oil changed again, and I have used Royal Purple for many years in the engine. The clutch was replaced prior to the engine, and both the transmission and clutch are very smooth and shift perfectly. 1994's have transmissions which were different than earlier years. The older NSX's had transmission problems with the snap ring breaking, and by 1994 they had addressed this problem. The car had the brakes redone a couple of years ago with drilled rotors, and I just replaced the master cylinder. This car has many, many years of driving pleasure left. Body & Paint The body is in excellent shape with no dents or door dings or rock chips. The paint is in very good condition - glossy and smooth. Over the years I have had the bumpers and other portions of the car repainted to keep it looking new. There are currently a couple of minor scuffs that could be addressed if desired. Interior The interior is in very good to excellent condition. Over the years I have replaced the steering wheel, stereo head, and floor mats to keep it looking new. The passenger seat is very good, however the drivers seat does show some wear, and has a small place where the seam has pulled apart. Other features This sale also includes a pair of Factory NSX Euro Driving Lights ($900) which fit into the front bumper. These are really rare and are hard to find, and were not an option on US market NSXs; they have not been installed. Car comes also with the owner's manual, dealers brochure, the space saver spare, electric tire inflator, jack etc (in the trunk niche), and the famous gold key.
