This Z is in excellent condition. I am selling because I never drive it. It runs great and looks excellent, as you can see. I have posted several pictures to show this. Everything works other than the clock. All parts are stock except for the CD player and the 4" speakers installed behind each seat. I have included a few pictures of the flaws so that any interested buyer is not surprised by them. The car is near perfect but there is a rough spot on the metal of the rear bumper, the rubber on the front left bumper has a split in it (see pictures), and the black striping running along the bottom sides of the car has some places that have worn off. The car is a 4-speed that shifts smoothly. However, under hard acceleration there seems to be a small catch going into 3rd gear when shifting hard, but I have never felt this during normal driving, and I do not drive the car hard (I baby it) so I never notice this, but I felt that I should describe that. The original dash did have the cracks in it that all Z's get, so I installed a black dash cap and it looks great, just like the original dash. A/C worked last summer but apparently needs recharged now as it mostly blows warm air. To my knowledge the car has never been damaged and the body does not have a single ding or dent in it. The car starts right up every time unless it has been sitting for a few weeks, in which case it may take 3 or 4 attempts to start, but it always does. I have never had it not start, die, or run anything but smoothly, and I would trust this Z to go anywhere. I am not the original owner. I purchased this car from Fast Lane Classic Cars in St. Charles, MO, a little over a year ago (it was kind of an impulse buy for me because my father who recently passed away always had a Z exactly like this one and it made me think of him). As I was told from the manager there, the mileage on the car is accurate, and it was all original when he acquired it. However, somewhere in the process of restoring/tuning up the engine, the motor was either found damaged or their mechanics damaged it so they replaced it with another OEM Z motor having ~70,000 miles on it (add probably 2,000 miles that I have driven it), so the motor is not original but the rest of the car is (mileage listed in the description is the actual mileage of the car, not the replacement motor). The frame is not rusted out as is usually the case with these cars. The only thing that bothers me with this car is that a previous owner cut out the holes for the 4" speakers behind the seats (under the carpet it appears that they originally cut out holes for 6x9 speakers which would sound a lot better and be an easy install if anyone would want to do that. Of course, that is only a minor complaint, the car is a beauty and runs great. I think I have included everything worth noting. Buyer is responsible for pickup and/or shipping.
