I purchased this Corvette a couple of years ago and improved it to my own needs as a weekend driver. Everything the car needed was addressed. The headlight assemblies were rebuilt. New carpeted door sills were installed along with new floor mats. The seats were reupholstered and new sunvisors installed. A VATS override switch and three power plugs were installed under the dash. In 1988 GM produced about 2500 Corvettes without the Bose Sound System. This is one of them. It had a Duel radio in it when I got it. I replaced it with a Kenwood KRC-435 receiver along with new rear speakers. The power antenna has a switch in the console so that you can control when the antenna is up or down. A new white convertible top has been installed. New tires and wheels complete this car. The wheels are ZR-1 style with 17 X 91/2" in the front and 17 X 11" in the rear. Tires are Sumitomo HTR 40Z, P275/40ZR17 in the front and P315/35R17in the rear. This Corvette is an excellent driving car. If I thought it need anything I would be working on it. I am selling it because I have a total of six Corvettes, summer is over and I realized that I have driven this one vary little this year.
