Vehicle Detail

1973 Mustang Convertible This Ford Mustang Convertible has been improved and redone literally from top to bottom, to make a great cruising car, for fun in the sun. What better way to enjoy the fall, spring & summer, then with the top down and the radio on? I redid the car the way I wanted, and the way Ford should have. Painted in Pepper Gray Metallic, ala Gone in 60 Seconds, and trimmed in MACH 1 badging, this Ponycar really catches attention and sounds GREAT! It sports MACH1 fenders ( no Mustang Script) correct MACH Grill, Ram Air Hood, chin spoiler, honeycomb rear with gas cap, and correct MACH 1 exhaust. All rubber trim, gaskets, and bushings on the car and top was replaced with new as well. New heavy duty padded canvas top was installed, and was up only once! The Interior is the MACH 1 Deluxe Interior with full gauges, lit by blue tinted LEDs. MACH 1 front seats, trimmed in silver to match the body. Custom late model carpet ( no old school loop style carpet) with stitched Pony running mats. Wood grain was replaced with Carbon Fiber on the doors and Dash. Even the horn trim ring was given the Carbon Fiber treatment. Radio was replaced with AM/FM/Cassette / MP3 and Blaupunkt speakers. Doors have custom cranks as well, with Carbon Fiber & Aluminum pedals. A B&M automatic shifter, nestled in a custom full length console finished out the interior. Not to ignore the mechanicals, I installed a new engine, a freshly rebuilt 302 from an 86 GT Mustang, new rebuilt transmission with better stall converter and shift kit for clean and crisp shifts, New Edelbrock carb, Real functioning RAM AIR, Petronix ignition & Flamethrower coil, as well as Doug Thorley Ceramic coated headers, mated to a custom aluminized stainless steel exhaust system. All new fuel and brake lines, rotors, fuel tank, rotors, calipers, front brakes, full front suspension, urethane bushings, chrome alternator, and a 3 core radiator. Car sits on 15x7 new Yokohamas in the front, and 15x8s in the rear. Car has power steering, power disc brakes, and power top. The restoration has been fully documented throughout the journey as well. This car was built to be enjoyed. It handles extremely well, and sounds great. This 1973 Mustang Convertible is not a real MACH1, as Ford never built a MACH1 convertible. I will assist both Domestic and International Buyers with Shipping arrangements, howevere all transportation costs are the reponsibility of the buyer. A $500 deposit is required within 5 business days and the remainder due within 15 additional buisness days.
