Offered is a 1984 AMD Eagle Limited 4-Door Wagon with low miles (90K) and good condition. Engine is 258 6-Cylinder, Auto Trans, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power windows and locks, Leather seats, etc. Wood grain, body, and interior still in very good condition. Solid driver, almost no rust on body, chassis, and exhaust, having been in a dry climate in West Texas. Radial tires still have good tread (>50%). Engine starts up and runs well. Rebuilt carburetor installed in 2010. Transmission shifts smoothly still. 4WD worked last I tried it. Here are some items needing work that I'm aware of: Heater/air cable controls, cruise, one power window, power seat control, and headliner adhesive. The power steering line leaks fluid, and now, from sitting a long time, the brake pedal goes to the floor. They worked great when it was parked in the Spring. A few dings on the body, and a dent on the lower passenger rear pillar next to the wheelwell, which needs fixing. ** NOTE: The car pictures, many of which I had on file, look dusty. Was in a rush to get 13 auctions listed and didn't notice how bad it looks until they were expanded large size. The car actually looks very shiny and nice when detailed. May do that and update pictures, if I get some time away from my 2 jobs. ** I am including a treasure-trove of extra parts. Here's what happened, and why I am selling the Eagle and extra parts. Had a shop with 6 AMC Eagles and a Mercedes Diesel which were going to be restored as a project. After accumulating the restoration parts, there was a drainage failure and flood after a massive rainstorm. The cars were destroyed along with part of my shop and about 2 dozen other businesses in January. Except this one Eagle was untouched. I was using it at the time, it was out-of-state when the flood happened. It was the nicest-running Eagle in the bunch. Anyway, many of my shop equipment and parts were ruined. After that I closed shop, have moved, and began on a new venture since then. What's good and left of the Eagle restoration project, I'm selling here on EBay. Here's the extra parts included in the sale: Two (2) entirely new exhaust systems, front to back including catalyst. A remanufactured 258 engine which was never used. A set of aluminum sport rims. An extra set of sport radials with 95-100% tread. And a host of other miscellaneous Eagle trim parts, mirrors, fasteners, spare starter, several sets of new tune-up kits, oxygen sensors, plugs, etc. If the sale goes above $3K, I will also include the hoist pictured, the engine stand shown in its box, and the transmission liftjack shown. I also have two (2) brand-new sets of Eagle replacement carpet and headliner refurbishing kits, and a pile of manuals. On Oct-23-11 at 12:20:39 PDT, seller added the following information: ** NOTE - Please understand that this car has sat unused for awhile, and will need some work. If you want it to be perfect right-off, this isn't the car for you. There's a good number of small annoying things wrong with it, consequences of sitting perhaps, or just age. For instance, brake pedal now goes to the floor, when the brakes used to work well. Also, there is now a smell which gets into the cabin, it could be from the leaking power steering or oil on the manifold, or exhaust leaking somewhere, I am not sure. Last trips had to drive with windows and/or ventilation open to keep smell out. The A/C doesn't get cold, and now the heat/ac cables seem to have detached from the levers. Some of the power window/seat motors either run slow, or dont work. Please bid accordingly. Thanks. **
