A PLANET SVX CAR UP FOR AUCTION: 1997 Subaru SVX Loaded AWD 3.3 Boxer / Auto / awesome color combo Fair RESERVE bid it to win it ! dont regret you didnt later ! 97 was the last yr for the Subaru SVX and we are selling a great example of a modern classic. Car runs and drives great for its age, new tires would help. Loaded everything works as it should. 169k on it which isnt bad for its age. But the car has been such a reliable great driver, it would be a shame not to drive it. Paint for its age is nice, But Az sun is starting to show its age the rear wing is the worst part. Pass side door minor dent and some paint on the bumper covers has been flexed and showing signs of wear. Factory Radio and CD player not installed, but do come with the car. Antenna not going up and down, but we took out an XM radio so it never bugged me. Drivers seat showing the most wear, rest of the interior very nice. If you are looking at this auction and you know about the SVX you probably know what a great touring coupe these cars are. Ive owned one since 1997 and still own 3 others 220 hp with styling that today still turns heads today ! Only reason Im selling it is I need to thin the heard. Interior: Car is super solid, doors etc all close well and tight for their age What you will see in the pics below is: Ive been all over and Under the car, and have pics to below to prove our claims. Check out ALL the pics below and you can see for yourself. Motor smooth and lots of power with oil changes every 2500 miles. Tune up done about 10k miles ago and we installed a new fuel pump a few months ago. The only reason we did is because the car sat for about 6 months and old gas killed the factory pump. Only mod I can report is the middle resonator in the exhaust, was removed a few yrs ago because it was rattling. This makes the car sound a little more throaty over stock. Rest of the exhaust is bone stock. Ive been thinking of installing a new resonator back in the system but I sort of like the sound as is. It would be easy to do. Planet SVX has all the parts you may want for this car to mod it or if you want to go back to stock or just do normal maintaince. Tires are old and should be replaced soon. ( I may have a nice set of take offs for sale if the winner is interested) FACTORY TINTED GLASS all in good shape, on top of it we had all the glass professionally tinted 35% more. Obviously this is not a restored car. Most of these cars were run into the ground and really USED up as you might expect them to be. This car flew under the wire and is stock as a rock. They are only original ONCE. Anyone can throw shiney paint and a bunch of off the shelf aftermarket parts on a car and say its "restored" But the value for your $ doesnt make worth buying. THE 97 SVX is the most collectable model ! We really try to have realistic prices on all of our auctions and want to sell cars, not sit on them for another year.
