Up for bid is this very clean and ultra-low mileage 1996 Chevy Suburban 2500 (3/4 Ton). IT ONLY HAS 54,304 MILES! This truck is also equipped with 4-WHEEL DRIVE and the sought after, heavy duty 7.4 Liter 454 CI V8 Big Block. This Suburban was utilized by the FBI, sparingly based on the miles, as an Incident Command vehicle. It is also equipped with power door locks, tilt wheel, cruise control, AM/FM stereo, front and rear air conditioning, trailer tow package, heavy duty front bumper built to accomodate a winch, roof rack and NEAR NEW Goodyear Wrangler RT/S's with a brand new spare tire. This Suburban is in very good condition and is amazingly dent and scratch free. The clearcoat on the roof is fading as most of these era GM's do. The left door and front fender have small areas where the paint has dulled. Overall this Suburban still looks great. The interior is in excellent condition and looks almost new. The seats, rubber floor mat, door panels, headliner and dash are all in excellent condition with no wear, stains or tears. The rear cargo area contains a WeatherGuard heavy duty sliding compartment which is bolted to the floor. We're also including an uninstalled third row seat which will be set on top of the cabinet for the new buyer. We've driven this Suburban occasionally since we acquired it. It really does run and drive like NEW. There are no squeaks, rattles or flaws at all. Everything works as it should, the steering, brakes and suspension still feel great and it is a pleasure to drive. This is a rare opportunity to own a very clean, government owned very low mileage Suburban equipped with the power-house 454 V8 and 4-Wheel-Drive. Vehicles left past the agreed storage date are subject to a $15.00 per day storage fee. We are open for vehicle pick up during the week. We are not open on the weekend, but can make an exception with prior arrangement. Sorry but we spend weekends with our families. VEHICLE REGISTRATION, SALES TAX, SMOG, FEES, ETC: We are a licensed California auto dealer. The state requires that if you're out of state and plan on coming here to pick up the vehicle, you need to know that California law REQUIRES the buyer to pay sales tax, registration, and smog fee's if they pick up the car and drive it away. This is still the LAW even if you put the car on your trailer and it never touches the California roadway. If you're out of state, avoid can avoid all of these required fees by having your car shipped to your state. This in most cases is less expensive anyway by the time you figure gas, lodging, and other expenses. If you're an out of state buyer but picking up the vehicle and driving home, we can reduce the state required registration to a $16.00 one trip permit, but the other fees will still apply. If you are a California resident, we collect sales tax, registration fee, and a $58.25 smog inspection fee. We then provide you with temporary registration in the window so you can legally drive the vehicle until your title and license plates arrive in the mail. All sales require a $55.00 DMV and paperwork fee. This covers the costs of our mailings of the title, bill of sale, license plates if required, and going to the DMV for you on your behalf. PAYMENT INFORMATION: Please follow the rules of the auction after it is completed, regarding deposit and full payment deadlines. Anyone not following through with the auction will be reported to Ebay and NEGATIVE FEEDBACK will be left. There is a clear title on the vehicle. A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 must be received by me within 24 hours of the close of auction via Paypal, money order, or cashiers check, sent via overnight express mail. After that, full payment needs to have been received within the next five business days of the close of auction. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL AS PAYMENT FOR THE BALANCE DUE. In other words, full payment balance after deposit is due 5 business days after the auction close date, and must be paid via cash (in person only for cash), cashiers check, or money order.
