This Land Cruiser is for sale locally also so the seller reserves the right to end the auction early if it sells.1971 Toyota Land Crusier FJ 40 All original...here is what she has: 1974-75 H 42 4 speed on the floor transmision. Transfer case gone through, with clutch replaced. 1985 rebuilt 2F engine with approx. 4k miles on it. Compression check good. 5 BF Goodrich AT 32X1150 R 151T, very good tread. Interior fully Rinoed, including roof and roll bars. 4X4 is very strong, just the way Toyota built them. Chassis is in very good condtion, no rust through anywhere. There a few spots of surface rust. I am told these are of no consequecnce. Speedometer reads 125,000. New front KC lights with similiar lights on rear. Seat belts for front. New windshield wiper unit. Included are A) Original hard top, B) Full doors, C) Bikini Top, D) Frame for a full canvas top, E) Full canvas doors And half canvas doors, all in great shape. 2 jump seats for back that need to be reupolstered. (Not installed). Frames are excellent. Past 12 months, had front end alignment, 5 new tie rod boots, lub entire chassis, 2 new lub fittings, and serviced brakes. Owner of shop said this LC was the most solid he had ever seen 100% garaged. Guy yesterday asked me if heater and brakes work? I grinned.."Oh ya". Dog ran out in front of me last week, I was going about 30 mph. The brakes with the tires had a immediate stop...straight. That was nice. Oil, sparkplugs, air filter all with the highest quality available on market. Included $150 worth of SS Socket Head Cap screws, ss washers, I was intending to install on the entire outside chassis. Small box of parts. Has large storage box with key/lock under driver seat. All locks are fully functional. Owners manual, and 3 excellent repair manuals.
