Vehicle Detail
Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifoglio ~ Top of the line Alfa ~ Series 3 This is one of the nicest ones on the market today, cleanest, updated, runs great, and a lot of fun to drive. A 1986, with only three owners, and speedometer shows 41,161 miles. The car is stunning and needs nothing mechanically -- everything that needed to be done, has been done. We purchased it, a little over a year ago for $7,000 and put over $3,000 into it. Compare to other Alfa's on the market, cheaper models, those needing work, and/or others with much higher mileage, and this is the one you will want to own!! Recent Updates Include: New Seat Upholstery New Carpets Re-Upholstered Door Panels New Windshield and Seal New Windshield Inner Trim New Dash Cover New Exhaust System (all Original) Replaced all Tie Rods New Head Light Rings and Gaskets New Shifter and Brake Console Boots New Stereo/CD Player/Antenna New Alfa Romeo Emblems Front and Rear Many More Small Items, Repaired or Replaced Includes Original Owner’s Manual, and Technical Service Manual. The convertible top and tires are in great condition. Body is in excellent condition – no dents or dings. Paint is excellent, (previous owner had it re-painted); color is Liquid Silver. Ready to drive away. In response to questions about A/C: No -- it does not have A/C. We never bothered installing it, because this car is just a play toy for us -- and we only drive it with the top down. We have two other cars that we drive daily -- we only drive this one, in convertible-top weather for fun. NO RESERVE -- HIGHEST BIDDER WINS IT. The Quadrifoglio Verde (Green Four-leaf Clover) model was introduced in 1986, with many aesthetic tweaks, including side skirts, mirrors, new front and rear spoilers, hard rubber trunk mounted spoilers with integral 3rd stoplight and optional removable hardtop. It was otherwise mechanically identical to the standard Spider Veloce model, with a 1962 cc double overhead cam, four-cylinder engine (twin two-barrel carburetors in Europe; North American models retained the Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection introduced for the 1982 model year except that the VVT mechanism was now L-Jet activated) and five-speed manual transmission.
