THE BUILD DATE, ON THIS CAR ,FROM THE COWL TAG IS 08A THIS CAR WAS PROBABLY BUILT ON THE VERY FIRST DAY OF MONTE CARLO PRODUCTION AT THE FLINT MICHIGAN PLANT.THIS WAS ONE OF THE FIRST ONES OFF THE LINE. It is a very solid old Monte.It is alot better car than it first appears.Please take the time to look at all the photos.350 2 brl with a turbo 350 automatic and factory a/c.The car cranks and runs but could use a tune up.The car had been sitting for about 15 years when I got it.I put gas in it and cleaned the points and it cranked right up.The gas tank was very clean on the inside,so I assume it was stored without gas in it.It does not knock,tick or smoke.The brakes seem good and the car is very tight.I would recommend checking everything before any major driving.Plan on trailering it or having it delivered.I can help with delivery,if need be.Most all the paint is original with only a little surface rust.The only major rust is a few spots around the back window where the vinyl top was and a couple of small rust holes on the passenger side c piller where the top meets the quarter.This was under the top.Easy fix. .There is no other rust on the roof at all.There is NO rust around the front window.There is No rust on the back package tray either.I removed the original carpet and the floors are perfect.The floors are excellent with NO rust thru anywhere.The truck pan has some small holes Mainly in the drivers side.See Photos.The doors are rust free and open and shut like new.I can not emphasize enough how tight and solid this car is.It will surprize you.The trunk lid,hood,rockers fenders and quarters are very solid.There is a small spot of rust on the bottom of the passenger front fender but it is minor and a easy fix.There is also a small spot on the drivers side rear wheel wheel by the lower quarter drop off.It is also very minor but I do not want anybody not knowing.The hood is not bent and the hood hinges are excellent.This car is still wearing all its original sheet metal.All the glass is excellent.This is a very tight car.The dash is perfect with no cracks and is uncut.The old vintage pioneer radio still works.All the dash lights still work and the a/c system is complete and is still holding presure.All the electric items still work good.I have all 4 of the wheel well mouldings and the rear window trim.I also have all 4 or the original factory floor mats.*** The car will come with 4 Factory rally wheels with Firestone white letter tires***The Slots shown DO NOT come with the car********.This will make a very nice Monte with very little work.Keep in mind it is not perfect car by no means,but it is a very nice solid 41 year old car.This is a very good driver car.The photos tell the story and the car is priced right.**Trades considered** It will be SOLD AS IS.*****The photos on this one speak for themselfs!!!!******See my other items for sale.I can arrange to have it delivered for you,if you like.Email for a Quote!!
