Up for bids is a very low mileage 2003 Ford E-350 Extended Club Wagon XLT. This Van was purchased with 46k miles to accommodate a contract that fell apart. It is company owned and was part of a fleet and received regular maintenance, although it was hardly used. Original paint was silver but was painted blue with white vinyl lettering to match the fleet when it was put into service. It has just been repainted (9/1/2011) to original silver with all letterings removed. It is equipped to transport passengers in wheelchairs. It has a commercial grade Braun Millennium L915 wheelchair lift mounted in the rear. The van and the lift are both in excellent condition. It runs perfectly, powered by a 5.4 liter V8 and automatic transmission. It accelerates smoothly, shifts smoothly and on time throughout its range. It has captain chairs up front, a bench seat in the second row for 3-4, and a fold-up jump seat for 2. I am not an expert, but it looks as if at least 2 wheelchairs can be secured for travel at one time. The van has a raised top for extra headroom. It is equipped with tie downs for the wheelchairs. Will deliver within 50 miles of Zip Code 20850 or will pick you up from any of the 3 airports nearby (Reagan National, BWI or Dulles) with advanced notice.The mileage may be slightly higher than the advertised 48,810 when delivered to the purchaser but not by much (200 miles +-), excluding any delivery mileage from 20850 zip code. Recent VA Safety Inspection (passed). Please take note of the slight dent in the lift door (pictured), and dented mud guard (also pictured). Not certain of the warranty status given its mileage being under 50k, please check on your own. Although I am not aware of ANY issues with this vehicle, I am listing/selling it in an as is condition.
