1985 Honda Shadow

I have for bid a 1985 Honda Kosman Trike. I’ve owned this for 9 years and runs great. Its time to get rid of the toys and we have used this very little in the past few years. These trikes were built for the San Francisco Police Department to be used as meter maid vehicles. The majority of the bike is a Honda VT 500 Shadow, the rear end is either a Ford Pinto or Ford Mustang I’m not sure. The Trike has a separate gearbox between the engine and rear end that has FWD / NEUT / REV and the engine is a six speed. They build these for city driving with very tall rear end gears; so don’t expect to get on the highway for long rides unless you replace the rear end gears. Top speed is around 60mph. This is a great go to work and drive around town machine. The only mechanical issue with this trike is it will not stay in second gear unless you hold your foot up on the shifter. This has not been a problem for us; we just shift from first to third. If you have any questions please respond via message.
