Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1996 Toyota Supra Sport Roof with a 5-Speed manual transmission. Engine is the 2JZ-GE non-turbo. I hate to do it, but the time has come to sell my beautiful car. Got married, and now it has to go. Even though the car has got a lot of miles, it's the car that's stuck with me through thick and thin for the past 6 years. Paint is a few years old but has held up well. Tires don't have many miles on them, and the transmission and differential have been recently replaced. Although the car has a salvage title, there was only slight impact damage in the front, and all damaged parts were replaced with brand-new factory Toyota parts and it's never been a problem. The airbags weren't replaced during the repair, however. The interior is original, though the driver's side seat needs recovering. The only aftermarket modifications have been ADR wheels, TRD sport springs, and a custom exhaust. The A/C system has a leak, and refrigerant bleeds off. A/C system works just fine in all other regards, but will eventually leak down after recharging. I probably don't have time to repair it before the end of the sale, but I'd be more than willing to make adjustments in price for that repair if the winning bidder so desires. Car was last smogged for registration around May and had no trouble. It continues to be a reliable daily driver and has brought me a lot of good times, but it's time for this Supra to find a new owner. I had to relist this car because the previous buyer would not perform or communicate at all. I have no idea why people would bid without the intent to buy. I guess I was dealing with a kid, so hopefully we get legitimate bidders this time.
