Vehicle Detail
I am truly sorry that I am relisting this M3 again but Ebay decided to end my last listing due to their "rules". I marked the title as salvage because Ebay says it has to be that way but please note this car has a clear title and it does not have salvage or rebuilt on the title. It does have a salvage history due to theft recovery and you can see this in the history report but once again I have had the car inspected and a clean title issued. This $1 NO RESERVE auction is for a 2004 BMW M3 Convertible. It is finished out in a rare Laguna Seca Blue with black power top and Black Full Leather interior (very few BMW 3 series come with real leather interior most have a high grade vinyl). Every thing including the door panels inside this car is real leather and there is nothing as sweet as the smell of a BMW with full leather interior. The BMW is known for being one of the best luxury sports car in the world but the M3 takes that a step further with its 333hp 3.2L M-powered engine and a suspension that can handle any curve at any speed. Its incredible how well this car handles especially on the twisty roads, it just feel planted but yet still rides and drives like a luxury car is suppose to. The only reason I am selling this M3 is because my wife and I work alot of hours and with the new baby neither of us have time to just get out and ride around with the top down and any free time I get I always seem to be behind the wheel of my Viper. The color of this M3 is considered pretty rare and you don’t see them for sale very often but it’s definitely an eye catcher. Everywhere I go I get lots of great complements on the color from the young and older crowds. If you like attention then this car will help you out with that especially when you drop the top. I cant say enough good things about how well this car drives and handles but I will add this: another great thing about the m3’s is with all the speed and handling comes great gas mileage. I average between city and country driving around 23mpg but on the highway it will get an easy 26mpg and that a big plus in my book. Oh and they actually have a large trunk with a fold away top storage tray so going on vacation is also easy in this M3. This car is equipped with the easy to drive SMG manual transmission. Its the best way for someone who cant drive a stick shift to still be able to drive a manual and my wife LOVES this option. Its as close to an F1 race car transmission as you can get in a factory car and at upper rpms it will shift so fast its scary but at regular cruising speeds it shifts smooth as butter almost like an automatic. And another great feature about the SMG is it actually has a Drive mode which acts like an automatic and shifts itself as any automatic would but if you want to slap it in shift mode you can easily shift it with the steering wheel paddles or by bumping the SMG console shifter up and down. This transmission really is a work of art once you get use to how it works. If you are looking for a fast car with great handling but all the luxury amenities one could ask far with amazing reliability then the 01-06 M3 is the right car for the job. Ive owned 2 M3’s and about 7 other BMW’s (3 series, 6series, and 7 series) and I always come back to a beemer simply because out of all the high end cars I buy BMW is always the best and the M3’s are always the most fun in the BMW line up. The car is bone stock and it came pretty well loaded with the following options: -333HP 3.2L motor (the most important part) lol -SMG 6 speed manual/auto transmission (can be driven in an automatic mode or can be shifted by paddles on the steering wheel or by the console shifter) -Full power top (push a button and the car does the work) -Power windows (with all window up/down express button and one touch up/down windows) -Central locking system (locks the doors, glove box, trunk, and gas lid when you lock the car) -Dual 10 way power seats with adjustable knee bolsters and express forward for easy back seat entry and 3 memory drivers seat -Tilt/Telescopic steering wheel with multi button race inspired M steering wheel (VERY NICE TO HOLD) -Park Distance Control (reverse sensors in the back bumper to detect objects behind you) -Rain Sensing Wipers (A must have option) -Harmon Kardon Sound AM/FM/CD with hidden sub -Fully automatic digital climate control with allergen filtration system -Power outside anti glare mirrors with Park Assist (folds down to see the curb when parallel parking) -Active roll over protection system (roll over bars shoot up from the rear head rest in the event of a roll over) -Auto Headlights -Fog lights -Homelink (3 button garage door/gated entrance control buttons) -LED tail lights (only available on 04-06 m3’s) -DSC stability and traction control -Optional M in crested head rest -On board computer (monitors mpg, avg speed, distance to empty, etc) -BMW SOS system (BMW version of On Star) -18” lightweight M wheels(tires have 80-90% tread left) -Optional rear spoiler -and much more of course The car drives out perfectly and every function works as it should. Especially the important functions like AC, SMG transmission, and power top all work flawlessly. The car was just service at the local European auto service facility and passed inspection with flying colors so shes good to go another 14k miles before service is needed. The only note was a small oil leak from an oil line but it was not in anyway a danger to the engine and the leak was too minor to red flag it. I didn’t even get a quote to repair it cause I knew it was going up for sale and I am already going to lose money so I’m not about to lose more. I have kept a check on the oil level and I’ve yet to see the oil level go down so it’s a slow leak for sure. The car is in great shape overall with normal wear that any 64k mile car should have but really I am amazed at the condition of the interior besides a little wear on the drivers seat and steering wheel this interior is just incredible with very little wear anywhere. Of course expect the regular paint chip here and there from daily use and I have taken pics of what I would not consider normal wear one thing is there are two small dings in the top of the trunk lid one is so small I couldn’t even get it to photograph the other can be seen at certain angles(see pics) but both of these dings can easily be repaired by any paintless dent removal company for less than $100 in 30 minutes. Another thing is the rear bumper corner is chipped just behind the drivers rear wheel(see pic) again any body shop can repair this for little cost and in a short time but its not bad and I would drive it as is myself. And lastly the drivers rear parking sensor appears to be missing the little ring that fits it flush to the bumper but the sensor is snapped in place securely as it should be it just needs the beauty ring snapped in(see pics) but no one seems to notice it missing and again I would just drive it the way it is. One other thing about the rear sensors on the 3 series cars they can sometime be glitchy. I have owned 2 different 3 series with parking sensors and a buddy of my also owns an M3 with rear parking sensors and they all act the same. Sometimes they will give a false reading when backing up, don’t know if its just dirt and dust build up on the sensor or what but its just every once in a while but most the time they read objects around them accurately. Never understood why a 3 series needed back up sensors anyway you can see out the rear perfectly on these cars. I bought the car from an IAA insurance auction out of the New York area as a theft recovery. I bought the car the way you see it now the only thing I replaced on the car is the wheel/tires. The car was originally equipped with the 19” M wheels but all 4 were curbed so I bought these flawless 18” M wheels with brand new tires locally to make the car a better car and couldn’t be happier with the ride and look of flawless wheels. You can plainly see on the history report where the car was recovered from theft. The car has had paintwork at some time in its life. From the best I can tell it has been painted on the front, drivers side, and rear bumper but the paintwork look great with no major flaws to speak of and the average person wouldn’t even know its had paint work but Ive bought a lot of cars over the years and know what to look for. I bought the car through my best friends dealership and so it will be sold through his dealership because I never even titled it in my name. It does come with a clean title but a salvage history from the theft but please note once again it does have a CLEAN TITLE so any bank or loan institute should gladly loan on this car. I am more than happy to email a copy of the title to any interested buyer so that they can take it to their bank for loan approval before bidding. PLEASE PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE FUNDS OR YOU HAVE THE BANK LOAN APPROVAL BEFORE BIDDING!!!!! DISCLAIMER!!! I am no mechanic and/or a body man in any way so if you have any concerns about the condition of this car mechanically or body work wise I highly suggest you come inspect the car before bidding. I have relayed everything I can see or know about this car and have hidden nothing but again I am no expert and could easily miss something. But this Ebay auction is not to be the high bidder then come inspect the car, it is an auction to buy the car and pay for it. So if you can’t come inspect the car yourself and are not 100% comfortable with the description I have given of the car please bid on a different auction. I can help with the shipping at the buyers cost. Again this is a great car with stunning looks and is just amazing to drive so please bid to win and feel free to contact me anytime with questions Wayne 731-610-6274 or simply click on Ask seller a question. And remember this is a $1 NO RESERVE auction so the high bidder will own this car. Good Luck!!!! =-)
