1932 Ford Pickup home built hot rod, titled as 1932 Ford Pickup. Steel cab, steel bed which has been shortened about 10 inches. Glass tailgate, glass 1931 Ford fenders, glass grille shell. Early 1930s Ford front end with Tube axle, four bar, disk brakes. Trans is 700R4 by B & M. Rear end is from 1980 Datsun 280ZX, independent suspension and disk brakes. Engine is professionally built Chevy 355 CI with steel crank, Crane cam, Hooker headers, hi torque starter, Mallory solid state distributor, harmonic balancer, and 471 supercharger with Carter AFB carb. Interior contains Vintage Air air conditioning, Ididit column, Lokar shifter, all digital gauges, and Pioneer CD player with radio. Cooled by Walker radiator. Alarm system. The doors are opened by electric solenoid and the bed cover is raised by electric motor. The car was completed in summer of 2006 and was driven maybe 500 miles working out the kinks. Soon after that I had a heart attack and the car has been garaged since then. I did start it prior to placing this ad, the last time it was started was in 2008 and at that point the trans would not engage and there was not brake "pedal". The trans was rebuilt when I put it in so I don't know what the problem is there, I'm sure the brakes probably are ok just need bleeding. The reserve is $12,000 and is less than half the amount spent on this project. I can accept no trades and must have Payment within seven days.
