1955 Buick Special: This 1955 Buick was purchased by a close family member of mine who lives in New Hampshire, but visits Florida regularly during the Fall and Winter months, and loves to frequent the car shows. This Buick has been here in Florida since purchase, and since the visits are not going to be as frequent as planned, we think it may be time to give someone else an opportunity to own this great car. Very attractive Titian Red and Dover White with nice matching interior ... It is quite obvious this car was cared for and garaged it's entire life. It is a good original Buick that has been restored, as needed, to drive and show. Many of the features on this car are well above average and the car is certainly above average as a whole. Interior, exterior, trunk, engine, underneath, etc. Everywhere you look is solid and clean. The engine and trunk compartments are detailed and painted. Although it is not a "perfect" car, it is a lot of fun to drive and displays very well at the car shows! Cosmetically, as a whole, you should expect to see some degree of flaws present (age, driving wear, paint chips, etc.). The paint, although older, is still quite glossy and attractive even from a reasonable distance. Chrome and brightwork is also perhaps better than average, however, showing it's age in some areas more than others. The interior displays very well. The dash is very good and the windows all roll up and down as they should. Again, you can expect some flaws around the car, but it is a pretty one nonetheless! Please see all of the photos displayed! The Nailhead V8 idles very well, makes great power, and still has the functional gas pedal start. The Dynaflow transmission is very smooth and also works well. The car gets down the road and flows with modern traffic with ease. Overall, the car runs and drives great! The speedometer and other gauges are in good working order. The gas gauge is accurate, the cigar lighter is functional, the original radio plays, directional signals work too. You can drive this one! A really great car and investment at this price ...
