You are bidding on a running 1994 K1100RS. This bike was purchased on ebay in Sept of 2007 with 34,421 miles. Bike was driven from Sept 2007 till Nov 2008. There was a death in family and bike has been parked since. I am no longer able to keep the bike as a memory and time marches on. This bike needs a new home with someone thats going to ride it. Its been maintained at Mortons BMW in Fredericksburg Va. 22401 - A tune up, oil change and valves were adjusted. 35 miles driven since valve adjustment.($900 service bill) Bike has been covered and started from time to time with little riding. Will smoke on start up but thats gone once choke is throttled back. Bike has been a commuter bike with an ave of 90 miles a day(5 days a week) for well a year with trips to Ohio, New York and Florida. BMW accessory plug after market cigarette adapter plug- allows you to use any car or bike accessory mounting bracket ( NO GPS ) just- the mounting bracket for a tom tom brand Full removable hard luggage with same locks. These are the type that unlock and unclip from bike in seconds. You can pull into hotel, grab sadle bags and check in. Large map view tank bag, easy to remove and carry. comes with rain fly ABS brake system with self check. ABS lights stay on till bike has tested system. You have to place bike in gear, drive it and it self checks the system. Shaft drive Center stand and kick stand Items that will need tending to: Small, less than 5/16 of an inch split in seat on back section. Please view last 2 photos as refference and size of split. possible to use mending kit (cold weld) Reflector inside headlight has slipped out of place. Will require headlight to be removed to adjust and reinstalled. Missing 1 inside mirror clip ( 3 clips to each mirror) mirror is attached but can be knocked off bike with only have two of three clips. Saddle bag hinge is needed for one sadle bag. Hinges are easy to replace, simply slide into place and dealer has them instock. One locking buckle needs to be installed on Saddle bag. I have buckle and the rivets to go on it. Just dont have a pop rivet gun. There are scraps on bike and farring is fadded and mis colored on the bottom half. cheap paint job from previous owner. See photo as lower farring is not shiny and slightly different color now with age. Mirrors have scrapes, bike has been dropped by more than one owner. The K1100RS as never hit or been hit by anything that I know of. Bike has 2nd guage cluster ($240 ebay) and this one is has stopped working. We have had over 8 inches of rain this month the speedometer is not working now.
