Vehicle Detail
I am offering for sale my 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. It is a classic vehicle that is quickly becoming a collecters item. Low mileage models are selling for $20,000 and up. This vehicle has about 178,000 miles on it. Came equipped with power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, power seats, hi/lo 4 wheel drive or 2 wheel drive. The pros: Towing package with hitch andtrailer brake controller New motor mounts New water pump New exhaust manifold gaskets New ignition switch New rebuild kit on the carb, including floats, and power valves Newly rebuilt rear drum brakes Replaced a good bit of brake lines also Tires in great shape Recently checked all fluids (front and rear differentials, and transmission all checked out great, transfer case fluid was changed.) Starts great, drives great, stops great. Interior in good shape for the age. All vacuum lines in motor were just gone through and replaced where necessary. Heater works Fresh inspection sticker The cons: Power mirrors are not working Power passenger seat doesn't work Rear passenger side power window doesn't work (probably needs a motor) Latch on tailgate is gone, but window in tailgate does go up and down either by using the switch on the dashboard, or using the key in the tailgate. Fuel guage needs a new sender (will include part with jeep) Oil pressure guage needs new sending unit as well. A/C needs recharge, but A/C blower does work One rust hole in panels under the door, and drivers rear quarter. Radio is broke Jeep drips a small bit of oil when sitting for a few weeks...not sure where it comes from, but it pretty minor. Windshield has smll crack in the middle, but still passed inspection Paint is faded as one might expect of a vehicle of this age. Please ask if there are any other pictures you would like to see. I will be happy to take them for you. Also if you hve any questions please let me know. On Sep-29-11 at 06:33:23 PDT, seller added the following information: Editing the listing with some interior pictures, and underbody pictures. The interior is in good condition with the only noticeable wear being the side bolster of the driver seat and the drivers side of the back seat is torn, other than that the seats are nice. The carpet is dirty in some places, but it will be vacuumed and shampooed for the winning bidder. The underbody is in good shape too, any rust colored sections you see in the picture are strictly surface rust. The frame rails on both side are pictured, and the floor pan is solid all around as far as i could see laying under it. I do not see any evidence of the drivers side frame rot that occurs in some of these vehicle, and have included the best picture i could of the drivers side frame rail at the leaf spring in the rear where it meets the skid plate. The Jeep also has a new rear section on the exhaust, including a muffler, and a new starter. I forgot to include those in the listing. I would like to encourage the use of the buy it now feature, so with the buy it now, I will include the following: New fuel sending unit (will be included with any sale regardless of price), oil pressure switch, and sending unit, quarter panel repair section for the driver side, new driver and passenger side rocker panels, and a new radio (something similar to a nice Kenwood with cd, and ipod connectivity) With any other sale above the reserve, i will only include fuel sending unit, oil pressure switch and sending unit.
