This is a rare opportunity to purchase a 1988 Carrera Targa Special Edition 911. Approximately 80 of these were brought into the U.S. (About 300 total of which 80 were Targas.) I bought this very low mileage car from a Doctor who only used it for pleasure on nice days. As I recall he was the original owner. The car drives and looks fantastic for a 23 year old car. This series of 911’s (87-89) are much desired being the last of the hand made cars and featuring the G-50 (5-speed) gearbox and 3.2 bullet-proof air cooled engine. This car draws lots of attention whether on the road or at a car event. The items that make it the 250th Anniversary Addition are: Diamond Blue Metallic (grayish/blue) paint on the body and Fuch wheels, blue metallic crushed leather interior, F. Porsche signed Recaro power seats, factory short-shift kit and anniversary dash plaque. Due to age and health I need to reduce my car collection. I have owned several Porsches including some late model ones and this is my favorite. It is a very well balanced car that is such fun to drive. These cars are increasing in value and this car should be an excellent car to drive and enjoy for years. The Targa top has been rebuilt. When I purchased the car I had all the required service done by a Porsche Pro mechanic. I also added a K&N intake, replaced the computer chip, installed a Stebro (Italian) twin exhaust with test pipe (cat by-pass), and a limited special edition Personal ‘Williams F-1’ steering wheel which looks great with the interior. A high-end audio system was added using stock speaker locations. These items cost over $4K. Car has A/C and P/W. The original stock parts are available if desired. I will include the exterior magnetic trim pieces and a Cambrella temporary top cover which is great for parking or overnight. This car has been babied (never over 5500 RPM) and always treated with TLC. A very Special car looking for a Special owner. If you have questions, please contact me.
