1958 Kombi This is your chance to own a classic!! It is currently powered by a rebuilt 1600 cc motor that has 5000 miles on it and the original crash box transmission. Capable of cruising at 60 mph on the interstate comfortably. It has been re-worked to a 12 volt electrical system. I also have the 36hp engine, complete with carberator and 6v generator that was removed. It will need to be rebuilt, the bottom bearing is spun. I also have a brand new 12v starter. The paint job is about 8 years old. There is some peel and a scratch on passenger side. The interior panels were installed 3 years ago and are in very good condition. There is a functional Blaupunkt AM/FM/short wave radio installed but no speakers. The rubber moldings are 8 old. Tires are near new with about 4000 miles. All glass is original Sigla. The front driver’s side front windshield is cracked. The undercarriage of the bus is in excellent shape, it is totally clean and original. The wheel wells, jack points, frame, and sills are all in excellent condition. Terms of the sale: I require a $1000.00 nonrefundable deposit within 3 days of the close of auction through paypal unless otherwise agreed upon. The total amount of sale is due within 7 days of close of the auction. I will give you the title when you come to pickup the bus. Title is in my name and clear. You only owe what your high bid is.
