1972 Plymouth Barracuda. 318 V8, 904 automatic transmission, 8 3/4 rear axle, power steering, power brakes, and 116K miles. Car was repainted 7 years ago and needs to be touched up. Interior was redone 9 years ago with new carpet, headliner, and white vinyl seat covers. It has an aftermarket steering wheel in it, but the original is included. The dash panel has several large cracks. Floors and trunk floor have been patched before and will need some work again. Some rust blisters are starting on rear wheel openings. Both front fenders, upper header panel, and front bumper are fiberglass. The left front frame rail has a crack in it to the rear of the lower control arm mount. The car runs and drives. The lights work, horn works, parking brake works, the windshield wipers work somewhat (it needs a new switch and there is excessive play in the wiper arms). The car originally was a 318 car, and as far as I know it's the original motor. It's stock except for Dynomax ceramic coated headers. The transmission was rebuilt in 2003. The 8 3/4 is untouched, is non-posi, and is geared fairly high. The car was in an accident in 2000. The fenders, grill, bumper, upper and lower valance panels, and radiator support were replaced. The frame was slightly bent and was straightened on a frame machine. The left front tire wears on the inside because after the repair work the car never got a profesional alignment. With very little work, the car could be a good daily driver or would make a good project car. Feel free to make an appointment to see the car before the auction ends.
